Zoe was a farmer who found a lost Max Cunningham and O.B. in one of the paddocks in September 2003. Max and O.B. were left smitten by her and were excited to learn that she had a twin, Ella, but were disappointed to discover that they weren't identical twins. Zoe took O.B. to a nearby field, leaving a smitten Ella with Max. The pair ended up kissing when O.B. fell off the bike he was riding, and Zoe offered to let him and Max stay in the night in the barn. Zoe lead O.B. into the roof-space of the barn, where they had sex in the hay.
The next morning, overhearing Zoe and Ella talk about a wedding, Max and O.B. worried that they were going to be forced into marriage. O.B. wanted to stay to marry Zoe, so Max decided to leave without him. However, Max changed his mind and O.B. 'jilted' Zoe as she prepared for the wedding. The pair fled in the car, and Zoe was upset - she had wanted O.B. to attend her wedding to a different man!
