Washed Up was a dry cleaning business first owned by Helen Cunningham, who re-designed the business during an image change in 2003. Helen's daughter Mandy Richardson inherited the business after Helen's death, selling it to her boyfriend Tony Hutchinson in March 2004.
Mike Barnes served as the store manager and Frankie Osborne was also hired as an employee. The store was later purchased by Ash Roy, who hired Jacqui McQueen as manager following Mike's departure from the village. When Ash introduced a spray-tanning machine, he renamed the shop Tan & Tumble.
