Victor McQueen is the son of Marguerite McQueen, the brother of Breda McQueen, the ex-husband of Sarah McQueen, the husband of the late Joan McQueen, and the father of the late Bart McQueen.
Victor was born to Marguerite and her husband, a pig farmer. He is one of at least two of their children. Victor's father was a violent alcoholic who would beat Marguerite and Breda. Breda ended up murdering him in the 1970s by shooting him in the head with a bolt gun and feeding him to the pigs, letting Marguerite and Victor believe that he had left them.
In the late 1980s, Victor married a woman named Sarah and they had a son, Bart, in 1995. However, in 2000, Sarah discovered that Victor had been unfaithful and left him and Bart, eventually moving to Australia with her new partner. Victor went on to marry another woman named Joan, who took on the responsibilities of parenting Bart as Victor worked on the rigs in Aberdeen. Victor would also cheat on Joan, but she remained with him until her death in 2010. Victor briefly attended her funeral, but left shortly after the ceremony to return to work, intending on leaving Bart home alone.
Bart ended up moving in with his aunt Myra McQueen in August 2010. Victor never visited Bart whilst he resided in the village, but purchased him a car to fix up in 2012. After Bart's death in 2017, Victor did not attend his funeral.
