Eugene "Trigger" Goldstein was a thug who threatened Glenn Donovan and Grace Black after their drug shipment went wrong. When Adam and Jesse Donovan arrived, Trigger panicked and hit Glenn before fleeing. Trigger was later revealed to be working for Glenn, and he apologied for hitting him.
Grace later tracked Trigger down, and learned that Glenn set the whole thing up. Grace staged Trigger's kidnap in the hope that Glenn would reveal the truth to her, but this didn't work and Glenn nearly killed Trigger. After Adam told the police about Glenn, Grace lied to him that Trigger was the grass. Glenn's men eventually tracked down Trigger, but he managed to convince Glenn that he wasn't the grass. Glenn then had Trigger attack Maxine Minniver and steal £20,000 that Glenn had given her. Despite doing this successfully, Glenn still believed that Trigger was the person who grassed him up, so he killed Trigger and had Adam bury the body.
