The Folly is a set of ruins located in the village. The secluded location of The Folly leads to many of the residents going there to collect thoughts or escape the pressures of life.
Several events have also occurred at The Folly:
- In January 2013, Esther Bloom ran away from home to The Folly, where she attempted suicide by overdosing on vodka and pills.
- In April 2014, Peri Lomax collapsed in The Folly after escaping hospital shortly before an operation to remove her brain tumour.
- In February 2018, Glenn Donovan proposed to Grace Black in The Folly.
- In August 2019, Tom Cunningham held his summer camp, Tom's Turtles, in The Folly.
- In the same month, Tony Hutchinson was stabbed with a screwdriver and kidnapped by Breda McQueen.
- In January 2021, Silas Blissett confronted Mercedes McQueen in The Folly, and prepared to strangle her to death. However, Theresa McQueen interrupted and knocked Silas unconscious with a punch.
