Terry Williams was the brother of Vinnie Williams and husband of Angela Cunningham. After undergoing cancer treatment, Angela discovered that Terry was a conman and Terry fled after stealing a large sum of money from her.
Biography[]
Terry was the partner of Angela Cunningham. Angela had four children from her previous marriage to Gordon Cunningham, but they did not like Terry due to his creepy behaviour. Dawn's eldest daughter Dawn particularly had problems with Terry, but Angela ignored her pleas not to marry Terry. Terry rented his flat to Dawn and her sister Jude, but also allowed his brother Vinnie to move in with the pair when he arrived in the village. Finding the situation with Terry and Vinnie unbearable, Dawn and Jude moved into 2b Oakdale Drive with Lewis Richardson.
Despite the Cunningham family's problems with Terry, Angela accepted Terry's marriage proposal and the pair married in October 1996. Merely a month later, Angela was diagnosed with breast cancer and had a masectomy. As Angela recovered, both Terry and Vinnie disappeared, leaving Angela with Terry's £55,000 debt. Angela was later visited by a woman - Jane Wilson - who revealed to Angela that "Terry" was actually a conman who had a string of bigamous marriages and a habit of stealing money before fleeing.
