South Africa is a country situated at the bottom of the continent Africa. Hollyoaks was previously aired in the country on the network M-Net Series.
- Sandy Roscoe moved to South Africa in February 2016. She was eventually joined by Jason and Robbie Roscoe in March 2016, JJ Roscoe in November 2016, and Freddie and Lexi Roscoe in April 2017.
- In March 2016, Nathan Nightingale and Rachel Hardy planned to travel to South Africa, but were involved in an accident on the way to the airport which resulted in Rachel's death.
