Sophie Austin is an English actress who played Sapphire in July 2012 before playing the regular role of Lindsey Roscoe from 2013 until the character's death in 2016.

In December 2017, Sophie's boyfriend, Coronation Street actor Shayne Ward, proposed to her and Sophie accepted.
