Ron was a man who Harley Frater knew. Harley - who was homeless - would sleep with Ron so that she was able to sleep in his bed for the night. After Harley's friend Dean died from hypothermia, Harley prepared to stay with Ron until Peri Lomax stepped in and convinced Harley to stay with her.
Ron met with Harley after Harley fell out with Peri's mother Leela. However, she became uncomfortable when he wanted sex so she fled, and Ron attempted to track her down. He was prevented by Breda McQueen, allowing Peri and Harley to escape. Ron later threatened Breda in exchange for money, with Breda sending her son Sylver to scare Ron and retrieve her money when Ron made clear that he was not going to drop contact with Harley.
