Roberta Shaw was the councillor of Hollyoaks, who dated Sally St. Claire in May 2017. She died of a heart attack on their second date in The Dog in the Pond.
Roberta Shaw met Sally St. Claire on a dating app called Fireworks. On her profile, she stated that she liked "reading, rambling, and 80’s dance-floor classics". Sally was initially reluctant about meeting her, but Sally's best friend Neeta Kaur messaged Roberta, and set them up to meet for lunch at Esther's Magic Bean. Roberta left early following an urgent matter she had to attend to. She later phoned Sally to reschedule their date at The Dog in the Pond.
On their second date, Roberta began to feel ill. Simone Loveday later approached Roberta about her planning application for outdoor seating. Roberta was feeling even worse, so decided to go to the bathroom. Whilst on her way there, she collapsed having suffered a fatal heart attack.
