River Dee is a river that flows between Wales and England, and through Chester. A bridge in Chester along the River Dee has been featured several times in the show, and appeared in the end credits in the 1990s and 2000s.
- In November 1996, Lucy Benson, Carol Groves, Rob Hawthorn and Dermot Ashton crashed into the River Dee during a car chase with Rob's drug dealers. Dermot was killed in the accident.
- In April 2003, Roxy Maguire was murdered by serial killer Toby Mills by the River Dee.
- In July 2003, Michelle Reid was murdered by Toby Mills, who dumped her body in the River Dee.
- In May 2005, Steph Dean fell off a bridge and into the River Dee. The body of Michelle Reid, who had been missing for two years, ended up rising to the surface.
- In 2007, Warren Fox moved Sean Kennedy's body to River Dee after murdering him.
