Character Profile   List of appearances

Ripley Lennox is the enbyfriend of Brooke Hathaway and the Sweater Thunberg stallholder at the Cunningham's Grande Bazaar. They identify as non-binary.

Biography[]

2020-: Arrival[]

Ripley arrived in the village as the new Sweater Thunberg stallholder. Tom Cunningham introduced his girlfriend, Yasmine Maalik, to Ripley. He told her that he had asked Ripley to put a jacket aside for him that he wanted to buy for her. Yasmine was secretly horrified by the jacket, so Ripley tried to put Tom off purchasing the jacket by saying that it was a designer product and worth ten times more than what they quoted. Tom, however, purchased the jacket anyway.

Ripley befriended Brooke Hathaway, who was struggling with discovering their identity. Spending time with Ripley, Brooke realised that they were non-binary, and Ripley often gave Brooke advise on how to deal with their identity and their friends and family. They also moved into 2 Oakdale Drive with Grace Black (and later joined by Summer Ranger). Meanwhie, Brooke and Ripley's friendship later developed into a relationship, with the pair going on three dates in one day in September 2021 before sharing a kiss.

After Summer was arrested for kidnap and attempted murder, Grace found a new lodger in Nate Denby. Ripley was left unimpressed by Nate and the pair rivalled, especially when Nate opened a clothing stall opposite Sweater Thunberg, but later ended up getting along. Sweater Thunberg began having financial difficulties so Brooke arranged an eco-friendly fashion show which saw sales soar when the event went viral on social media. Ripley then told Brooke that they loved them, but a conflicted Brooke ran off. However, things soon returned to normal between the pair a few weeks later.
