Raya was a student at Hollyoaks High School who Juliet Nightingale set Sid Sumner up on a surprise date with in May 2021. Raya and Sid were both left impressed by each other at first, but Raya overheard Sid tell Courtney Campbell that the date was awkward and that he did not like not knowing of the date beforehand, and left.
