Pippa was a friend of Dave Colburn who met Josh Ashworth at a bar in July 2009. Pippa secretly had feelings for Dave and was unimpressed when he took an interest in Sasha Valentine, who reciprocated. Pippa ended up setting up Sasha to be arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and told Sasha that Dave informed her that she was a heroin addict. Sasha exacted revenge on Dave before returning to Hollyoaks, but Dave soon followed.
