Paul Pavey was the teacher who coached the Hollyoaks High School football team. In October 2006, he was forced to separate a fight between Craig Dean and Sonny Valentine in the changing rooms. Later that month, he presented the prizegiving, where Sonny and Justin Burton arrived drunk. Paul called Justin's girlfriend, ex-HHS teacher Becca Dean, to collect him, but couldn't resist making comments about her relationship with a student.
