P.C. Middleton was the police officer who spoke to Jacqui McQueen after she reported Gilly Roach to the police for rape in February 2011. She and the accompanying officer collected some items of Jacqui's clothing for evidence, and told Jacqui that once they had analysed her clothing and interviewed more people, the CPS could decide whether there was sufficient evidence to charge Gilly.
In November 2012, Frankie Osborne called the police after a drunken Jacqui stole from and trashed Price Slice. As Bart McQueen tried to convince the police to not arrest Jacqui, P.C. Middleton asked how Frankie would like them to proceed. Frankie tired of Jacqui's insults and P.C. Middleton prepared to arrest Jacqui, but Tony Hutchinson told Frankie that he would pay for what Jacqui stole and the officers left.
In June 2020, P.C. Middleton was one of the officers on the scene when Kyle Kelly crashed his van into Jordan Price's car whilst high on drugs. However, Kyle's fiancée, Nancy Osborne, lied that she was the driver. After hearing Nancy's version of events, P.C. Middleton decided that a full investigation was unnecessary, and told Nancy to remember to swap insurance details with Jordan before leaving.
