P.C. Franks

P.C. Franks is a police officer who arrested Grace Black on suspicion of theft, vandalism and attempted assault in June 2021. Grace had been set up by Fergus Collins, who used the situation to blackmailing Grace.

She returned in July 2021 following the disappearance of Brody Hudson (who had gone on the run after being framed for Liberty Savage's disappearance) to ask Timmy Simons if he knew anything of Brody's whereabouts. Unaware that Timmy was aiding Warren Fox in a robbery on Price Slice, she thought nothing more when he prated on about Brody's good looks, before concluding that he hadn't seen him around. Franks then left Timmy be, oblivious of the illegal activity going on around her.

The heist resulted in Walter Deveraux being attacked. After Fergus claimed to have seen Felix Westwood at the scene, Felix was taken to the police station for questioning. Martine Deveraux later informed the police that Felix was with her at the time of the robbery, and P.C. Franks told Grace that Felix had been released, with Grace learning of Felix and Martine's affair.

P.C. Franks later arrested Brody, who had gone on the run. She also investigated the shooting of Summer when Summer took Sienna Blake hostage in Warren's Wheels. In August, P.C. Franks interrupted a robbery at The Hutch, arresting Luke Morgan for armed robbery as he had a crowbar. In September, P.C. Franks moved Brody and Sienna to a safehouse when Summer was supposedly spotted at Hollyoaks High School, later revealed to have been a false alarm.
