Biography[]
2021-2022: Arrival[]
Olivia reveals her engagement to Goldie.
Arriving in Hollyoaks with Prince in September 2021, Olivia immediately got off on the wrong foot with Prince's mother Goldie when she acted rudely towards Goldie. Olivia was left horrified when Prince revealed that Goldie was his mother and tried to apologise, but the pair continued to bicker until Olivia dropped the bombshell that she and Prince were engaged. Goldie was strongly against the relationship, especially when Olivia revealed that she and Prince planned to move to New Zealand and marry. Goldie managed to stop the pair from moving to New Zealand by ruining Olivia's job application. However, Olivia later found a confession letter which Goldie had written in October 2020, revealing that she had given Prince and his brother Hunter up for adoption briefly. With Goldie confiding in Olivia, their relationship became less fractured.
Having to stay in England, Olivia successfully applied for a job as an English teacher at Hollyoaks High School, and was left annoyed when Prince accepted a cleaning job at the school a few months later. She ended up befriending deputy headteacher Nancy Osborne after Nancy confided in her upon Olivia discovering that Nancy was pregnant. However, Olivia used this to her advantage in an attempt to take Nancy's job, therefore turning Nancy against her. After managing to get Nancy taken off the school trip, Olivia joined John Paul McQueen in her place. John Paul ended up crashing the minibus due to alcohol withdrawal, with Olivia collapsing and ending up in hospital.
Olivia blackmails John Paul into resigning.
After discovering the cause of the crash and that John Paul was an alcoholic, Olivia blackmailed him into resigning from his job. When the blackmail failed, Olivia managed to get John Paul's confession broadcasted to the school during a fundraiser for Freya Calder, a student who had been left paralysed in the crash. Playing innocent, Olivia proceeded to give Prince the cold shoulder and convinced Sally St. Claire that John Paul was lying when he discovered that she was his blackmailer. Olivia eventually forgave Prince, whilst John Paul was fired by Sally. She eyed up the deputy head job, but was left furious when Nancy was given John Paul's duties.
2022: Crossing the McQueens[]
In June 2022, Sally suffered a heart attack and with Nancy on maternity leave, Olivia stepped in as acting headteacher. Despite a few issues such as the distribution of "The Fit List", causing Olivia to have several disputes with new student Vicky Grant, the school board was left highly impressed by the management of Hollyoaks High. As Olivia looked to finally be settling into the family, both Olivia and Mercedes McQueen were kidnapped by Silas Blissett, who told Olivia that he would kill Mercedes unless she gave Mercedes's son/his great-grandson Bobby Costello to him. Olivia's plan to get Bobby to Silas was found out and the family turned on her.
Prince eventually forgave Olivia and the pair moved into Tom Cunningham's house share at 65 Christleton Terrace. As Goldie also began warming to Olivia, Olivia ended up re-igniting her feud with Nancy. Olivia planned to get Nancy fired, but John Paul discovered that Olivia had been fired from St. Paul's Academy for improper education qualifications. After being exposed by Nancy, Olivia tried lying to Prince and Sally but was caught out. Whilst her job couldn't be saved, a heart-to-heart rescued Olivia and Prince's relationship and they looked forward to the wedding.
Olivia leaves the village.
The wedding planning also turned out disastrously, as Olivia's mother decided against attending and Olivia grew jealous of the attention Prince had received after rescuing DeMarcus Westwood from a fire at Price Slice. When Hunter arrived in the village, Olivia lied that she was the bridesmaid, "Meredith". After pouring her heart out to Hunter, the pair slept together, and Olivia tried to blackmail him into keeping quiet. On the wedding day, Hunter ended up admitting what happened but Prince decided to marry her regardless. However, during the reception, Prince changed his mind and broke up with Olivia, with Nancy seeing her off from The Dog in the Pond's carpark as she left in shame.

- Olivia was created by executive producer Lucy Allan as one of the five new characters for the Black To Front episode. Actress Emily Burnett's casting in the role was announced in July 2021.
