Northern Ireland is an island in the North Atlantic Ocean, situated north of Ireland. Unlike Ireland, Northern Ireland is part of the United Kingdom.
- In September 1999, Alex Bell met a girl, Caitlin Donnelly, who resided in Northen Ireland. As he prepared to meet her, Alex discovered that Caitlin had died and he had been exchanging emails with her parents since her death. He later met her sister Sorcha Donnelly in person.
- In November 2008, Malachy and Kris Fisher went to Northern Ireland for their father's funeral. Malachy ended up marrying fiancée Mercedes McQueen whilst there.
