Noel was a friend of Jamie Griffiths who attended Zara Morgan's party at 12 Hingham Road in 2001. He was also the drummer in Brian Drake's band The Seventh Order. Lisa Hunter was repulsed by Noel, but Abby Davies took a liking to him and accepted his invite to prom after her break-up with Lisa's brother Lee Hunter.
