Mrs. Jones is the mother of Josh Jones. Mrs. Jones was left unimpressed by Josh's 'girlfriend' Debbie Clarke and her sister Polly, and complained about Josh to his teacher Adam Tyler. Josh later told Adam that his mother had hit him and thrown him out after discovering gay magazines under his bed, but Adam visited Mrs. Jones who told him that she had not thrown him out and that Josh was staying with a friend. Mrs. Jones later publicly confronted Adam after Josh claimed that they were having a relationship, which turned out to be false.
