Morgan Osborne is the daughter of Nancy and Darren Osborne, the sister of Oscar Osborne, the half-sister of Francine and Jack Osborne II, the foster sister of Phoenix Hathaway, and the adoptive half-sister of Darren Osborne Jr.
Nancy discovered that she was pregnant in November 2021, but Darren took the news badly. However, after being caught up in an armed robbery at a jewellery story, Darren was kidnapped for weeks and Nancy prepared to raise the baby alone. Darren managed to escape but one of his kidnappers - Maya Harkwell - threatened to kill Nancy and her then-unborn baby. Maya was later shot dead during a struggle with her boyfriend Ethan Williams.
In June 2022, Nancy went into labour three weeks early whilst Darren was on Luke Morgan's stag do in Mallorca. Locked in a classroom at Hollyoaks High School with Felix Westwood by Charlie Dean, Felix ended up delivering the baby as Darren took the next flight back to England. After discovering that Luke had died in Mallorca, Darren and Nancy agreed to name their daughter "Morgan". Nancy became eager to return to work, so Darren decided to become a stay-at-home father. In March 2023, Morgan was rushed to hospital when her cousin Charlie Dean noticed that her foot was deoxygenated. Nancy and Darren were informed by the doctor that Morgan had a heart condition requiring surgery. A few days later, Nancy flew out to Detroit to convince Dr. Laithwaite, who specialises in heart defects in children, to perform the surgery on Morgan. In April 2023, Darren and Morgan joined Nancy after she convinced Dr. Laithwaite to treat Morgan, but Darren returned a month later. Nancy and Morgan returned home in January 2024.
