Maria-Gabriella McQueen

Maria-Gabriella McQueen is the daughter of Mercedes McQueen and Warren Fox, and the fraternal twin sister of Maria-Carmela McQueen. She is the half sister of Joel Dexter, Ella Richardson, Bobby Costello, Gabriel McQueen and twins Sophie and Sebastian Blake. Her name is a tribute to Mercedes' son Gabriel McQueen, who was stillborn in 2015.

Mercedes discovered she was pregnant in November 2023, but didn't know if the father was her fiancé Felix Westwood or his best friend Warren Fox, who she was having an affair with. In late December 2023, Mercedes, accompanied by Warren, attended a baby scan, but when the sonographer struggled to find a heartbeat, Mercedes was convinced she had a miscarriage and ran off, but soon discovered she was still pregnant. In January 2024, on the day of her and Felix's wedding, Mercedes was involved in a car crash accidentally caused by Felix, who'd just found out about Mercedes' affair. After being taken to hospital, Mercedes was told that she was expecting twins. A few weeks later, Mercedes did a paternity test at Warren's request and discovered, as a result of superfecundation, that Felix was the father of one baby and Warren was the father of the other baby.

In March 2024 at a gender reveal party, Mercedes discovered she was expecting twin girls. In July 2024, after being deliberately locked in Casa McQueen with Warren by Grace Black, Mercedes went into labour and - with help from Warren - gave birth to her and Warren's daughter first. In the hospital, Warren promised to support Mercedes and both twins, as Felix had fled the village as Warren believed Felix was responsible for the death of his daughter Ella Richardson. The next day, when deciding names for the babies, Warren wanted to name his daughter Katy after his deceased sister Katy Fox, but Mercedes called her 'Maria-Gabriella' after her stillborn son Gabriel.
