Longmere Prison is a category A prison located near Hollyoaks.
- Dan Hunter was incarcerated at Longmere Prison in 2004 after being charged with and being found guilty of the murder of Toby Mills. Dan was later exonerated after Toby was exposed as a serial killer and his death was revealed to be self-defence.
- Justin Burton was held in custody in Longmere Prison in 2005 after being charged with the murder of Stephen Mackintosh. He was found not guilty at his trial.
- Becca Dean was incarcerated at Longmere Prison in 2006 after being found guilty of having sexual activity with a minor (Justin). She was released in February 2007 after Justin admitted to lying about his age but Becca was fatally stabbed by inmate Fran Hathaway as she prepared to leave.
- In 2011, Brendan Brady was held in custody in Longmere Prison after being charged with the murder of Rae Wilson. Whilst inside, Brendan met undercover officer Simon Walker as well as drug dealer Kai. He was later released after Silas Blissett was revealed to have framed Brendan for the murder.
- Joe Roscoe was held in custody in Longmere Prison in 2014 after being accused of the murder of Fraser Black. The charges were later dropped.
- Finn O'Connor was transferred to Longmere Prison from Marsh Hill Prison, serving a sentence for the rape of John Paul McQueen and attempted rape of Nancy Osborne.
- Trevor Royle was held in custody in Longmere Prison in 2016 after being charged with The Gloved Hand Killer killings, but was later released.
- Ste Hay was remanded in Longmere Prison in 2017 for the murder of Amy Barnes, until a not guilty verdict at his trial. Harry Thompson was also remanded in the same prison for the same crime, but was later released.
- James Nightingale was remanded in Longmere Prison in 2018 after being framed by Sami Maalik for the murder of Kyle Kelly, but was released when it was revealed that Kyle was still alive.
- Luke Morgan served a prison sentence for driving under the influence and assaulting Scott Drinkwell from 2018 to 2019.
- Buster Smith has been serving a prison sentence for sexually assaulting Oliver Morgan since January 2019.
- Damon Kinsella served a prison sentence for fraud in 2019.
- Sylver McQueen was held in custody in Longmere Prison in 2019 after being accused of shooting his wife Mercedes, and was released after she admitted to lying.
- Summer Ranger has been incarcerated in Longmere Prison since September 2021 for attempted murder, as well as the kidnaps of Sienna Blake and Liberty Savage.
- Warren Fox was remanded in custody after being charged with the murder of Timmy Simons. He was released after Katja made a statement saying that Fergus Collins had trafficked her from Poland and was likely to have killed Timmy instead of Warren.
