Liverpool is a city in north-west England, famously home to The Beatles. As of 2017, the population of the city was over 491,000.
Lime Pictures, the company that produces Hollyoaks, is based at Campus Manor in Childwall, Liverpool. Campus Manor is used as the primary filming location for the show, which is set in Chester. The 2006 spin-off series Hollyoaks: In The City was both filmed and set in Liverpool.
