Who Killed Texas Longford? was the shortest whodunnit, spanning over three episodes whilst Who is the Village Serial Killer? was the longest whodunnit, spanning over ten months.
Who Pushed Clare?, Who Shot Calvin? and Who Is Stalking Sienna? had the least suspects, with five suspects each, whilst Who Killed Fraser? had the most suspects, with a total of thirteen suspects.
Who is the Village Serial Killer? (2002-2003)[]
Toby Mills was revealed as the killer.

The Hollyoaks Serial Killer was a mystery serial killer who claimed the lives of at least 11 characters between 2nd July 2002 and 5th November 2003. There were four characters suspected of being the killer, and the killer's identity was revealed on 21st April 2003. The Hollyoaks Serial Killer was the first ever serial killer in Hollyoaks (however, not the first murderer).
Scott Anderson was first accused of the crime, as the murders took place outside of his nightclub. Jake Dean was next accused as he refused to give a DNA sample, later revealed to be so he wouldn't be caught for chicken rustling. Bombhead was also a suspect when the police found his book, Inside the Mind of a Serial Killer, that he had bought to help the police. Dan Hunter was the prime suspect after the murder of Roxy Maguire whom Dan had slept with hours before her death. However, the killer was revealed to be Toby Mills.
Who is Stalking Lisa (2002)[]
Lisa was stalked by a mystery stalker.
Lisa Hunter was sent several abusive text messages from an unknown number, receiving her first one on 25th October 2002. She eventually confided in Abby Davies, who ended up publicly revealing the messages. The stalker's identity was eventually revealed on 29th November 2002.
Several of Lisa's friends were suspected of sending the abusive text messages; but it was Lisa's boyfriend Brian Drake who blamed her for his poor exam results as he was busy supporting her as she attempted to stop self-harming.
Who Pushed Clare? (2007)[]

On 22nd June 2007, Clare Devine was pushed over the balcony of The Loft by an unknown attacker. Clare crossed many of the Hollyoaks residents, such as Max Cunningham, Warren Fox, Tom Cunningham, Louise Summers and Sam O'Brien. On 14th September 2007, Clare's attacker was finally revealed as her nemesis Justin Burton.
Who Shot Calvin? (2009-2010)[]

On 21st December 2009, Hollyoaks aired a flashforward episode to Carmel McQueen and Calvin Valentine's wedding day in May 2010, in which Calvin is fatally shot by an unknown assailant. Five characters were suspected, and the killer was revealed on 21st May 2010 as Theresa McQueen, whom Calvin had impregnated during an affair.
Who is Targeting Chez Chez? (2010)[]
Chez Chez was targeted.
Chez Chez was targeted by an unknown culprit. There were six suspects, with the culprit being revealed on 29th October 2010.
Several employees were suspected of targeting the club - even owner Cheryl Brady and her brother Brendan. However, the culprit was revealed to be Warren Fox, who was supposedly killed in a fire in the club in May 2009.
Who Set Fire to Il Gnosh? (2010)[]
Il Gnosh explodes.

On 8th November 2010, an unknown arsonist dropped a lit match through the letterbox of Il Gnosh. The fire resulted in two deaths and several characters were suspected. The arsonist was revealed on 23rd November 2010 as Il Gnosh owner Tony Hutchinson's brother Dom Reilly.
Who Killed Lynsey? (2012)[]

On 29th June 2012, Lynsey Nolan was murdered by an unknown assailant. Similarly to Clare Devine, Lynsey had crossed several villagers, either by getting on the wrong side of them in general, or discovering life-changing secrets of which some of the villagers had been hiding. Her killer was finally revealed on 21st August 2012 as Doctor Browning, silencing Lynsey over Mercedes McQueen framing Mitzeee Minniver.
Who Slept With Sinead? (2012)[]
Sinead slept with a mystery man.
On 12th October 2012, Sinead O'Connor slept with a mystery man at a party following an argument with her boyfriend Bart McQueen. There were 5 suspects, with the culprit being revealed on 19th November 2012 as Rhys Ashworth, who had recently died in the bus crash.

On 9th May 2013, Texas Longford was murdered on her wedding day to Will Savage by being pushed out of the steeple window of the church. There were 5 suspects for her murder, including her own husband. Her killer was revealed on 13th May 2013 as Will, who had defenestrated his bride as she considered leaving him for his brother Dodger Savage.
Who Killed Fraser? (2014)[]
Fraser was fatally shot.
On 22nd April 2014, gangster Fraser Black was discovered dead by his girlfriend, Tegan Lomax, having been shot by an unknown assailant. Thirteen characters were suspected of his murder, with the killer being revealed on 17th July 2014 as Fraser's step-son Freddie Roscoe in retaliation for the near-death of his mother Sandy Roscoe.
Who is The Gloved Hand Killer? (2015)[]

Lindsey Roscoe was revealed as the killer.

On 2nd January 2015, Rick Spencer was killed by an unknown attacker, who injected him with potassium chloride whilst wearing gloves. The killer struck seven times, before the killer was finally revealed on 20th October 2015 as doctor Lindsey Roscoe.

On 31st March 2017, Amy Barnes was discovered dead in her flat. Six characters were suspected of her murder. A culprit was revealed on 5th September 2017 as her ex-boyfriend Ste Hay's fiancé Harry Thompson, however the real culprit was revealed on 10th October 2017 as her own husband, Ryan Knight.
Who is Blackmailing Warren? (2017)[]
Mandy Richardson was the blackmailer.
On 20th July 2017, Warren Fox started being blackmailed by an unknown culprit over his affair with Grace Black, wanting money for their silence. There were six suspects and the culprit was revealed on 16th August 2017 as his ex-girlfriend Mandy Richardson.
Who Pushed Mac? (2017)[]
Mac Nightingale was pushed out of a window.
On 27th November 2017, flashforward scenes showed Mac Nightingale lying in The Dog in the Pond carpark after being pushed out of a window by an unknown attacker. The murder attempt came after Mac's crimes came to light, including his physical abuse of his son James Nightingale, his role in his son Nathan Nightingale's death, causing the explosion at Hollyoaks High School which caused Neeta Kaur's death, and his brutal attack on Jack Osborne. There were eleven suspects, with the attacker being revealed on 30th November 2017 as Mac's daughter Ellie Nightingale after she walked in and witnessed Mac physically attacking James.
Who is Stalking Sienna? (2018)[]
Nico Blake was the stalker.
In April 2018, Sienna Blake began to receive threatening letters and messages from an unknown stalker. There were seven suspects, with the culprit being revealed on 15th May 2018 as Sienna's daughter Nico Blake, who had supposedly burned to death in a maze fire in the Halloween Spooktacular in November 2016.
Who Killed Carl? (2018)[]
Carl was beaten with a rock.
On 11th July 2018, Carl Costello was beaten to death with a rock by an unknown assailant. There were four suspects in his murder, with the culprit being revealed on 16th November 2018 as Breda McQueen, who had also killed Glenn Donovan and Russ Owen.
Who Shot Mercedes? (2019)[]

On 6th November 2019, Mercedes McQueen was shot by an unknown culprit in The Loft. The murder attempt came days after Mercedes was revealed to have run over Grace Black, cheated on her husband with Liam Donovan, and was believed to have murdered Harry Thompson. There were seven suspects, with the culprit being revealed on 18th December 2019.
Who Is The Body Bag Death? (2019-2020)[]
Someone is in the body bag.

In flashforward scenes to December 2020, an unknown character was seen in a body bag outside The Hutch. The victim was later revealed to be Jordan Price, who had been stabbed by Ella Richardson in defence of Charlie Dean.
Who Killed George? (2021)[]
George was beaten with a bookend.
On 23rd April 2021, George Kiss was beaten to death with a bookend by an unknown assailant. There were nine suspects in his murder, with the culprit being revealed on 20th May 2021 as Sally St. Claire, who struck George over the head to stop him attacking Theresa McQueen.
Who Ran Over Warren? (2022)[]
Warren was run over.
On 20th January 2022, Warren Fox was run over by a car in The Dog in the Pond carpark and left for dead by an unknown culprit. There were four suspects, with the culprit being revealed on 14th April 2022 as Warren's son Joel Dexter, who had discovered Warren was responsible for the murder of Brody Hudson.
Who Killed Rayne? (2023-2024)[]

On 25th September 2023, Rayne Royce was killed and found dead in the swimming pool at a luxury manor party organised by Rayne to impress the producers of reality series Love Cave. The murder took place after the truth about Rayne's lies and deceit came to light, including her abuse of boyfriend Romeo Nightingale, falsely accusing Prince McQueen of assault, and faking her ex-boyfriend Brent Taylor's suicide. There were eleven suspects, with the culprit being revealed on 5th January 2024 as Romeo Nightingale, who accidentally pushed Rayne into the pool in self-defence after she began attacking him. Rayne had already sustained a head injury after being pushed to the ground by Prince McQueen during a confrontation.
Who Shot Warren? (2024)[]
Warren was shot.
On 27th June 2024, Warren Fox was shot and left for dead by an unknown assailant who sped off on a motorcycle. On 9th August 2024, the assailant was revealed to be Dave Williams, who was revealed to be the gangster 'Blue', who wanted revenge against Warren as he blamed him for the death of his daughter Lizzie Chen-Williams.
Who Killed Ethan? (2024-)[]
On 7th October 2024 (set on 7th October 2025), Ethan Williams was killed on his wedding day to Sienna Blake after being pushed over a balcony by an unknown assailant. The murder took place after Ethan's ex-girlfriend Vicky Grant publicly revealed her previous affair with Ethan and how he got her pregnant and paid her to have an abortion. There were several suspects, with the culprit yet to be revealed.
