Regular Episodes with Non-Standard Length or Timeslots[]
Whilst usually transmitted in half-hour instalments at 6:30pm, Hollyoaks occasionally broadcasts in slightly different formats, such as hour-long timeslots or at night. Sometimes multiple episodes are joined together to create a seamless 'bumper' episode; other times, they are produced to take advantage of the longer timeslot. There are many reasons why this might be the case, e.g. Channel 4 scheduling needs, late-night outings, or simply a desire to go big for a particular story.
