A director plays a key role within the episodes themselves. Directors are usually allocated anywhere between 1 and 5 episodes within one week to execute (depending on the weekly episode schedule, and their prior experience: if any). They generally receive the script from a writer and work with various crew on planning and shooting each camera angle and scene. They also guide actors on performances, and may even collaborate with stunt co-ordinators if some actions are too dangerous for actors to perform.
A "last episode" date of 2025 indicates that the director is most likely presently working on the programme. As crew departures are usually not publicised like cast departures, it is difficult to otherwise keep track of durations in similar fashion to the List of Appearances article.
