Holly Cunningham was the first on-screen character birth in the programme.
A list of births and pregnancies (including fake), seen or mentioned on Hollyoaks. In the show's formative years, births were rare as the cast was smaller and primarily followed secondary school and University students. However, since the show's cast grew with a five-times weekly transmission, pregnancies and character births have become much more frequent.
There have been a total of 57 births on Hollyoaks: 45 on-screen births, and 12 off-screen births (which have taken place after a character has made their first appearance). There have also been 20 miscarriages, 11 terminations, and 11 instances where a character has claimed to be pregnant when they haven't been.
