- Dan Sanders was incarcerated in a prison in Leeds for death by dangerous driving. He was released in November 1999.
- In 2007, Warren Fox went on a brief holiday to Leeds.
- In 2011, Riley Costello transfers to a football club in Leeds after splitting with fiancée Mercedes Fisher. He, however, did not end up going through with the transfer.
