1996-2023: Early Life[]
Lacey was a friend of Rayne Royce from an early age, owing to their mothers' friendship. Their friendship tightened when Rayne began studying at the same university where Lacey was studying law. Their subsequent move into a flat together (especially through lockdown) made the pair inseparable, and Lacey often helped Rayne work through her various problems.
2023-: Arrival[]
Lacey is interviewed for a job by James.
Lacey Lloyd strutted into the village, briefcase in hand, for a job interview at Dee Valley Law in January 2023. The interview was slightly awkward as James Nightingale was repeatedly distracted and handled Lacey's compliments poorly, resulting in her expecting to be rejected. Meeting up with Rayne at The Love Boat, Lacey was informed by phone that she had, in fact, got the job. She then met with Tom Cunningham regarding a vacant room at 65 Christleton Terrace, encountering Prince and Hunter McQueen (who the pair met earlier), with Tom convincing Rayne to also move in. Lacey formed a quick closeness with her roommates, matching Rayne with Romeo Nightingale and helping Hunter and Prince with their Mother's Day plans.
In Rayne's dramas with Romeo, Lacey developed a bond with flatmate Nadira Valli. They shared a kiss. After Lacey admitted she fancied Nadira Valli and that she is gay.
