Kerri was the Australian girlfriend of Adam Morgan who arrived in Chester to see him in July 1999. Kerri helped Adam's mother Sue host the reception at Deva for Helen Richardson and Gordon Cunningham's wedding in August, with Sue telling Kerri off for encouraging wild behaviour just as a bouquet of flowers for the Morgans as a thank you from the newlyweds arrived.
In September, Kerri shared a kiss with Adam's father, Andy Morgan. Andy had thought that the kiss meant that she had taking a liking to him, and was left disappointed when she told him that it meant nothing. The next day, Kerri told Adam that she had tired of being in Chester and wanted to move on, asking him to join her. Adam rejected as he had enrolled at Hollyoaks Community College, so Kerri left alone.
In November 1999, Rob Hawthorn revealed that he had witnessed Andy and Kerri kissing. Beth Morgan also learned of the kiss and told Sue in December.
