Keith was a social worker who arrived at The Dog in the Pond in January 2022 to interview Scott Drinkwell, who was interested in becoming a foster parent. Scott and Keith got along very well, with Keith stating that he was pleased to see another gay man applying to be a foster parent. However, as he prepared to inspect 1 Stockton Lane, Scott disallowed him from going into the flat and claimed to no longer be interested - unaware that Scott's OCD-suffering aunt Diane Hutchinson was struggling with the thought of a stranger being in the flat. Scott lied to his family about being rejected, but Diane discovered the truth after confronting Keith.
After moving into 8 Rowing Club Apartments, Scott was approved for fostering and had an emergency placement. In May 2022, Keith introduced Scott to his foster daughter Vicky Grant. However, after a mere few days, Vicky called Keith to request that she was moved homes after being accused of stealing Maxine Minniver's perfume. Keith managed to diffuse the situation before leaving Scott to put things right with Vicky.
In February 2023, when Vicky decided to move care homes, Keith's co-worker Mike Bridgecroft oversaw her move to Kent as Keith was away on leave.
