Juan Pèrez was a man who Scott Drinkwell met at a Eurovision party in May 2023. Scott's aunt Diane Hutchinson told her old school friend, Scott's employer Sonia, who tracked down Juan and proceeded to play matchmaker by having Scott take him on a VIP trip around Liverpool. As Juan was a freelance worker, Scott asked for him to extend his holiday. However, Juan revealed that his father was ill and both he and his sister cared for him, instead inviting Scott to Spain. However, Scott was forced to decline as he couldn't leave his foster children Vicky Grant and Miley Carson behind. The pair then went their separate ways.
