Johnny is the ex-boyfriend of Mercedes McQueen. The pair dated until Mercedes found Johnny in bed with her best friend. Mercedes arrived in Ibiza in September 2011 for her hen do, with her cousin Jenifique McQueen introducing her to her boyfriend Johnny - unaware of Johnny and Mercedes's history. Mercedes was enraged to discover that Johnny was fully aware that Mercedes was going to be at the Catro Pereira bar, but Johnny managed to convince Jenifique that he and Mercedes were history.
Johnny later ended up on a supposedly abandoned island with the McQueens (and Michaela McQueen's boyfriend Michael Jackson). The pair were left alone to talk, with Johnny revealing that he had sent her several letters after the split and Mercedes realising that Myra had disposed of them before giving them to her. The pair nearly kissed, witnessed by Jenifique. Jenifique broke up with Johnny, whilst Mercedes rejected him in favour of her fiancé Riley Costello.
