Jo Hallows

Jo Hallows served as the series producer of Hollyoaks from Episode 9 (11th December 1995) to 2004, and executive producer from 2004 to 2005. Jo worked in the latter role alongside Hollyoaks creator Phil Redmond, and the pair were succeeded by Tony Wood and Carolyn Reynolds in June 2006.

During her time on the show, Jo has been responsible for many huge storylines for the show, including Luke Morgan's rape in 2000, and Lewis Richardson's suicide in 2001.

Jo has also worked as a producer on Grange Hill. She also served as a casting director for Brookside: Double Take!, wrote/created Hollyoaks: Let Loose and directed episodes of Brookside, Hollyoaks, Hollyoaks: Breaking Boundaries, Hollyoaks: After Hours and Hollyoaks: Let Loose.

Jo now works as a house renovator, helping people fix up their properties.
