Biography[]
Jason really appears in the series during 2010-2011. His first appearance was in the episode on August 2, 2010.
On September 23, 2010. First person to discover Jason as a trans guy is Anita. It happened by accident. After Jason became friends with a group of yard boys (in the image of Jason), they often began to walk together. On one of these days, the guys offer Jason to be initiated into their gang. Of course he agrees. Then they all go to a party, where his friends are trying to get drugs. At this moment, Jason sees that Bart is also at this party (house Bart's), so he tries to hurry upstairs so as not to meet him. At this time, a girl notices him and follows him, as she likes him. That girl was Anita.
When Anita followed him into the room, she initially thought he had stolen something, but it turned out to be untrue, so they just started talking. Their conversation was interrupted by a guy who happened to come into this room. He wonders: "Who is this guy next to you?", to which Anita herself says that she has no idea. The guy tells Jason to leave, but Anita insists that he stay. Then they decide to play a game of the bottle. The bottle points to Anita, and the next scroll points to Jason. Jason is a little shy, so he says that she doesn't have to kiss him if she doesn't want to, but Anita does, so they kiss. After the kiss, Anita and Jason are left alone and a heart-to-heart conversation takes place between them and they are about to kiss again, when suddenly Bart bursts into the room and says that he has thrown out all the wayward friends and, grabbing Jason, says that he should go too. Jason runs outside and adjusts his hat so that his hair is not visible. At this time, Anita catches up with him. She looks at him and kisses him again, after which they part ways.
On September 27, 2010, already at school, Anita sees Jasmine and calls out to her. Jasmine stops and looks at her. "You're Jasmine, right? You're Carl Cоstello's daughter," says Anita. Jasmine is not really in the mood to talk, because she is afraid that she will remember her. But Anita only says that she remembers her because she saw her at Bart's house. She says that after Bart's party, he (Bart) got hurt. But that's not all she wanted to talk about. At the party, she met a cool guy, Jason. She's been looking for him all weekend, but she hasn't found him. Then Jasmine says she knows him and he's a real dumbass. Anita asks for Jason's phone number, but Jasmine says she doesn't have one. Then Anita goes on to tell her about how she kissed. Jasmine says she doesn't have time to talk to her and that she has things to do. Then Anita says goodbye and leaves.
After school, on the way home, Anita sees Jasmine again and tries to call out to her, but she doesn't pay attention to her. Mark (one of Jason's friends) passes by and Anita approaches him. She asks if he knows Justin and if he can give her his phone number. Mark doesn't understand why she needs a phone number and says it has nothing to do with it, but when he finds out that Anita just fell in love, he willingly shares the phone number. After that, Anita finally catches up with Jasmine and tells her that she deliberately ignored her. Jasmine apologizes and says she just didn't hear her. "I just wanted support," says Anita. She also shares with Jasmine that she got hold of Jason's number and is going to call him anyway."Didn't I tell you not to mess with him?" Jasmine says irritably, to which Anita says that it's up to him to decide whether he will talk to her or not. Jasmine goes ahead, and Anita is just about to call Jason. At that moment, Anita hears Jasmine's phone ringing. The girl abruptly starts running and Anita rushes after her. On the way, Jasmine wounds the bag and returns for it, but at that moment Anita catches up with her and grabs the phone. At this point, Anita realizes that Jasmine has been Jason all along.
On September 28, 2010, Jasmine comes to school and looks for Anita. She finds her in one of the rooms and immediately says that they need to talk. "I have nothing to talk about with you," Anita says, to which Jasmine says that it wasn't she who tried to kiss her on Friday. "But I didn't know. You - Jason. I do not know what kind of stupid game you are playing, but it is strange," Anita is indignant, but Jasmine says that this is not a joke or a game. That's why she wants to explain it all. But Anita says she doesn't have time and is about to leave when Jasmine stops her and tries to apologize. "Please. We need to talk. I'll explain everything at lunchtime in the courtyard of the school..." - finally says Jasmine and Anita agrees anyway. On their lunch break, Anita and Jasmine meet. Jasmine tries to explain her behavior to her, but it's strange for Anita.
-So you're disguising yourself as a boy and going outside pretending to be a boy? Why do you need it? Are you crazy?
- It's hard to explain.
- Yes, that's probably why you need to see a psychologist or something. I know a lot of girls like to wear men's clothes, but they don't pretend to be guys!
- That's exactly what I'm trying to explain! I'm pretending when I dress like this...This is the first time I've tried to tell someone about it. And even before that, I tried to tell people on the Internet, but these are people on the Internet...
- Go on...?
- You just understand, as if there are 2 people. There is you, who is visible to everyone, and there is the real you, who is closed and invisible to no one.
- Yes, you're probably right.
- That's why I wear a mask every day.
- Jason's mask, right?
- No, it's quite the opposite. Jason is me, but Jasmine is not.
-So you're a guy?
- No. But from the age of 4-5, I felt like I was a boy. When I looked at my brothers, I knew perfectly well that I was different from them. My parents never liked that I was a tomboy, so they tried to dress me as feminine as possible. But you know that when you're little, you can't do much. So I let them dress me the way they wanted. Yes, I still let them do it.
After that, Anita said that now both girls and boys can dress the way they want. As an example, she cited one guy who calmly dresses like a girl, even though it was hard at first.
-I know it's not about the clothes. I'm not a transvestite like him. I'm not a girl. I'm a boy.
A couple of days later, Anita approached Jasmine again with the claim that she was ignoring her.
-Why are you ignoring me?
-Because you know my secret. Have you told anyone about this?
-No, of course! Why don't you just tell your parents about this?
-Because they will never understand me.
-Just talk to them!
- No, I won't do that. Just keep my secret a secret, okay?
-Who am I to tell anyone else about this? I promise that your secret will stay with me.
Further, Anita still insists that Jasmine talk to her parents and gives an example of her story, saying that she was adopted and it seemed to her that no one understood her, but her adoptive father understood her best. As a result, Anita gives Jasmine her number so that if anything happens, she can call her and talk to her if something bothers her.
On October 25, 2010, Jasmine goes to school, but Fern constantly bullies her. Today, for example, when she saw Jasmine, she grabbed her bag and pulled out her phone. One of the teachers saw the phone and took it away, thus punishing Jasmine for taking out the phone. The girl tries to find out from Fern why she behaves like this with her, but she just says that she just likes it. Later, Jasmine goes to a bar, where she talks to her friend Anita (they meet quite often). She calls him "Jason" and they have a nice conversation. He shares with her that he lost his phone because of Fern and points at her (Fern also went to this bar). "She just makes my life unbearable," admits Jason (Jasmine). At that moment, her Bart comes up to them and Anita says, pointing at Fern, that she is hurting Jasmine. Her Bart goes to deal with her and she leaves, harboring a grudge against Jasmine. That night, after the three of them left the bar, Bart asks where Jasmine's phone is, to which she admits that it was confiscated. Bart promises to figure it out, but Jasmine doesn't let him do it. She wants to figure it out on her own, but Bart still insists. Then she says in which class her phone was stolen.
When Jasmine and Anita are alone, Anita brings up the topic of transgenderism again.
- What are you going to do next? Maybe you'll tell your parents someday.
- I don't even want to think about it! But...I'll tell them. I'll tell you when I'm ready for it.
- You know, I read about it on the Internet. I visited several sites again. And on one of them I found stories of the same people. It was only after they opened up to their parents that they suddenly changed their minds and wanted everything back again. Won't you do that?
- Yes, I know about that.
- So that's it! Imagine that you went through all this and eventually changed your mind.
- I don't think it's common. Usually, a person thinks about it for a long time before opening up and knows for sure in the end.
- Have you already decided for sure?
-Yeah, right.
A month after Jason opened up to Anita that he was a trans guy, the next person he opens up to is Fern. It happened by accident and had its consequences.
Hollyoaks Later 2010: Day 1. Bart, after promising to deal with Jason's phone, headed to school. There he climbed into the classroom, took out Jason's phone and accidentally burned himself in front of the guard. Because of this, he had to run away. On his way home from school, he met Mark, who told him to hide in the bushes, and he covered him up, telling the guard that "that guy" ran in the other direction. When the guard left, Bart and Mark sat down on the playground together and talked. Word by word, the topic of money came up, and Mark decided to call his friend Jason to borrow some money for food. At that time, Bart's phone rang and he accused Mark of knowing his girlfriend, Jasmine. Mark denied everything, but Bart was adamant. "I do not know any Jasmine! Go deal with your girlfriend yourself!" Mark shouts, after which they disperse enraged.
At the same time at night, Jasmine disguises herself as Jason and they walk together with Anita like this. Before saying goodbye, Anita says: "Goodbye Jasmine, oh, or rather Jason. See you later." Jason says goodbye to her too. At that time, Fern was standing around the corner and heard their conversation. She found him interesting, so after Jason entered the store, she followed him. At the store, Jason took a snack and the clerk addressed him as a guy. After Jason left the store, Firth caught up with him and started asking what it was all about. Jason tried to laugh it off and say that he dressed like a guy because it was just a bet, but Fern didn't believe him, so she said she would go and ask his sister if it was really a bet. Jason got scared and said he didn't need to go to anyone. Then Fern said with a grin that it wasn't a bet at all. In order not to discuss all this in the middle of the street, Jason suggested a more secluded place and Fern agreed. They came to a cabin where Jason was constantly changing clothes to become himself.
- I don't know how to treat you anymore, - said Fern. - You know, there's one place I go to all the time. It's like a bar, but I'm not looking for male attention there. Like it's not that simple.
-What do you mean?
-It's a gay bar. Anyway, there are a lot of different girls and guys there. And this..Well, they're all mixed up there.
-Really?
- Yeah. I think you should go there. The girls there look just like you: pants, T-shirts, etc. And there's a girl who looks like a guy. And even better than him.
-Have you talked to her?
— yeah. She seems to like me.
-Really?
— yeah. But do you know what I don't understand? That guy you're talking to, isn't he your boyfriend?
- Yes.
-It's working. That he's your cover?
- In what way?
-Well, you're a lesbian, aren't you? The same as me.
-Are you a lesbian?
- yes. And there's nothing wrong with that.
- Yes, I understand, but I'm not a lesbian.
-And who are you? Come on, I shared it with you. Whatever you tell me, I'll keep it a secret.
- When I was younger, my mother always took me to different shops to choose dresses or skirts for myself, but I hated it!
- Well, yes, you're more comfortable in jeans.
I often pretended to be sick, just not to go shopping.
-Why don't you just talk to your mom?
-Because you don't know her.
- And what? A lot of girls like to dress like that.
- But for me it's not just everything. One day I went with my mom and it was obvious how much I didn't like it. I was bored. So when we had to go on vacation, she told me to choose a bikini swimsuit, but I couldn't choose anything because I was disgusted. I just don't want to wear this. In the end, I had to choose something so that she just wouldn't tell me anything. But you know how nasty they are...
-What do you mean?
-They're not covering anything up. They're just showing off your body.
- Wait, I don't understand what you're talking about.
- That's right, I don't understand myself. Let's change the subject.
- No, I mean, it's not that important. Well, you're a tomboy, so what?
- No, I'm not a tomboy.
- You're not a tomboy, you're not a lesbian. Then who are you?
-I'm a boy. That's who I am.
Jason started telling Fern that he always knew something was wrong with him. And things only got worse when he turned 13. He started having a month, and every month they reminded him that he was biologically a girl behind it all. At such moments, he wants to commit suicide. Then he told me that he bandages his chest to make it seem invisible when he's Jason. "Jason?" Fern asked when he told her his real name. Then Jason had to explain that this is the name he calls himself when he's a guy. Then he said that one day he saw a documentary about transgender people on TV and realized that this was what he was like. That's what it's called. Jason realized that he wasn't the only one. But at that moment, the rest of the family was watching this program with him, who reacted extremely negatively to all this. It was then that he realized that he would not be able to open up to his family. Fern asked Jason if he would have sex reassignment surgery, but he was ambivalent. Then she said that when he becomes a guy, he can get married, but Jason replied that he was not interested. Fern didn't understand him, so he had to explain that even though he was a trans guy, he liked guys. So he's gay. Fern said she supported him and tried to get closer to him. At one point, she even kissed him, to which he pushed her away and said that he liked guys, not girls, and ran away.
As Jason approached the house, he saw Bart throwing rocks at his window to talk, so he hid and waited for him to leave. At that moment, Fern came up from behind and started saying that she would tell everyone his dirty secret. Jason asked her not to, but Fern said she had no reason not to unless he brought her money. From then on, Fern began to blackmail Jason.
On October 26, 2010, Jason asks Anita for help to borrow money, but she didn't have any, so Jason decided to rob his parents' bar to get some money.
Hollyoaks Later 2010: Day 2.After Jason brought Fern the money that he stole from his parents, she said that it was still not enough and she was waiting for the same amount next time. Jason tried to resist, but she threatened again that she would tell everyone. Fern also said it would be a lesson to him that you can't trust everyone. This was Fern's response to Jason's words that it was to her that he told most of what he hadn't told anyone (not even Anita). During their conversation, Bart arrives, having heard about the "secret", he decided to ask what it was, but Fern laughed it off and said that it was nothing like that. Fern decided to bet on Jason, and while he was talking to Bart, she started talking about the money from the cash register.: "I think someone told me that money was disappearing from the cash register." Bart looked at Jason. "Yes, you look tense," he said, but Jason shook his head. Bart says that Jasmine has a lot of secrets and gives her the phone, also mentioning Mark, who called her. Fern decided to cover for Jasmine, so she said it was a mistake for someone to mix up the numbers. Jasmine had to confirm her version. Fern took Jasmine's hand and led her into the room. They had a conversation in the room, in which she asked if he wanted to thank her for covering for him in front of Bart. Jason asked why, and then Fern replied that she wasn't really that bad. At that moment, she turns on the recorder to record the conversation with Justin. Fern asks Jason:
-Have you had sex before?
- no.
-Does he mind?
- no.
-You know, guys like that. But I don't think he'd be thrilled if he knew you were a boy. Because you're a boy, aren't you, Jasmine?
- Stop it!
-Would he like that the girl he likes likes to dress up as a boy?
-I told you that I don't like dressing up as a boy. I am a boy! I have no choice!
-Oh, yeah, Jason?
- Yes, I am Jason! And I want to remind you that I'm not the only one with a secret!
At that moment, Bart came in and the conversation stopped. Bart jokes off that their secrets are to have a threesome. Fern is joking and Jasmine doesn't like it. When Fern leaves, her Brother asks Jasmine when they got so close to her. Bart is about to kiss Jasmine, but she stops him. When Fern returns, Bart leaves, and then their conversation resumes. Jas says Fern has a problem picking on him, but Fern says he's a freak and she's just laughing. They quarrel and Bart expels Fern. Before leaving, Fern tells Bart that Bart has already fucked Jasmine. And that's why she's so nervous. She also says that Jasmine is already ready for this and he just needs to go to her now. "Only this will make you feel like a woman," Fern said finally and left. After that, Bart returned to Jasmine and began to kiss her. When he asked her if she wanted to have sex with him (he had previously shown her that he had a condom) She agreed. They almost slept together, but at the very last moment, Jasmine jumps out of bed and, saying that she can't do this, runs into the bathroom, covering herself with a blanket. Crying in the bathtub, she receives a message from Fern in which she says she needs more money and sends her a copy of the recording she made during their conversation.
On October 27, 2010, Jasmine goes to Anita's house and shares with her that Fern continues to blackmail her, only now she also has a recording of their conversation. Jas says she has no choice but to find more money. At this point, Anita's friend asks if Jasmine is happy with her body, to which she receives silence. Later, Anita confesses to her friend that she is completely a virgin and inadvertently lets slip that the only thing she did was kiss a girl while looking at Jasmine. Jasmine rolls her eyes, but remains silent.
Hollyoaks Later 2010: Day 3 Jason decides to become a girl, so he puts on makeup and gathers all his men's clothes to burn them, but just as he's about to do so, his phone rings. This is Mark. He says he's picked up a couple of girls and Jason needs to see this one. He's waiting for him at the skatepark. After that, Mark gave Fen the phone (she was one of the girls he picked up) and told Jason to come here quickly, otherwise his secret would be revealed. She also asks if he had sex after that night and says that's exactly what Bart likes. "Who feels that Bart likes something about you that you can't stand and don't want to have?" Jason has to dress up in men's clothes again and go to a meeting. When Jason arrives at the meeting, Fern gets to him again. She shows him the recorder and turns on the recording. Jason breaks down and drops the recorder, trying to smash it. After that, he starts fighting with Fern. At that moment, my Brother runs up and starts to separate them. Jason runs away and hides in his cabin crying. Bart calls him and asks him to come to him. Jas agrees. When she's sitting with her Brother, he starts asking her about Jason. Maybe she knows him? Jasmine sees her bloody knuckles and hides them from Bart. To distract him, she invites him to have sex again. He agrees and they get back together in bed. When it comes to sex, he calls her "Jasmine," which makes her break down and tell him not to call her that. He doesn't understand why she doesn't like her name, but Jasmine doesn't want to explain anything, so he says she's weird. Jasmine breaks down and says they need to break up. This makes her feel sick and she runs to the bathroom again. there she starts crying and accidentally breaks a mug. She accidentally cuts her finger with a splinter and realizes that it feels good. Then she decides to cut her wrists for the first time. Not much, but enough to calm down.
Hollyoaks Later 2010: Day 4 Jasmine calls her father to talk to him, but he says he's busy and can't talk to her. Later, Bart comes to Anita's house and asks where Jason is, to which she says she doesn't know anything. That's when Bart notices Jason's windbreaker and goes inside, saying it covers him. When Bart goes inside, he sees Jasmine, who was crying recently. She asks what he's doing here, to which he starts apologizing for yesterday, saying he shouldn't have called her that (Jasmine). But Jasmine doesn't want to hear anything and asks him to leave. Bart leaves. Jas cries again and tells Anita that he and his Bart have broken up. He says he's a freak, but Anita stops him and says he's good. Jason apologizes to Anita for dragging her into all this and leaves saying that he can't lie to the Bart and he'd better tell him everything. He argues that he already considers him a freak. Anita says that Jason has already promised to end Jason and become Jasmine, but he can't just give it up, so in the end, Jason still goes to the park after Bart.
In the park, Jason is about to admit to Bart who he really is, when suddenly Fern approaches him. She deftly leads him away from Bart to a more deserted place. She surrounds Jason with her girlfriends and says he needs to be taught a lesson. "Now we'll see what kind of girl you are," says Fern and takes out a knife. Jason gets scared, and Fern starts cutting his clothes. He tries to get out, but the girls hold him tight. At that moment, my Brother returns and starts fighting with Fern. He steps on him and she stabs him with a knife. A bloodstain immediately forms and everyone gets scared. Fern runs away. That leaves only Bart and Jason. He screams and bends over him. He cries, asks him not to die and calls for help. Jason tells him one last time that he loves him and kisses him. At that moment, people who heard the call for help come running and Jason runs away.
Bart is fighting for his life. During a short coma, he rethinks everything and the thought enters his head that Jasmine could be Jason. But this is not supported by anything and he immediately wakes up.
Hollyoaks Later 2010: Day 5. Fern found out that Bart woke up and immediately runs to visit him. When she visits him, she realizes that he has forgotten the latest events, and therefore begins to lie to him that it was Jason who hit him with a knife and that in fact he protected her from him, for which she is grateful to him. At this time, Jasmine comes to visit him. She finds out that Bart already has a visitor, and as soon as she finds out that it's Fern, she immediately runs there. But it's too late. Fern leaves Bart's. Then Jasmine decides to talk to her like this. Fern says she said it was all Jason's fault and that Jasmine should keep her mouth shut, otherwise Fern would tell everyone (about the tape recorder). When Jasmine goes to Bart's room, she tries to find out what else Fern might have told him. When Bart blames Jason for everything, Jasmine stands up for him and says that Bart only knows one side of the story. Bart decides to tell Jasmine everything, and therefore begins to accuse her of covering for Jason. At this point, he decides to say that Jasmine is Jason. It was more of a hunch, so he didn't count on anything, but Jasmine decided to confess. "I'm a boy," he said, but Bart didn't accept him. He started saying it was his fault and denying it. He kicked him out, trying to digest everything.
On November 1, 2010, Jason sits with Anita and looks at the things he stained with Bart's blood when he tried to save him. Anita asked what they should do with these things, but Jason said he needed to go home first and then they would figure it out. Fern was waiting for him outside the house. She told him again to keep his head down and stick to the theory that it was all Jason's fault, but he said he didn't want to play like that anymore and was going to confess everything to his parents and everyone today. Fern said it was his business, but she knew he wouldn't do it. Fern decides to go to Jason's secret house and finds bloodstained clothes there. She decides to take it for herself, so that in case of emergency it would be her reinsurance.
On November 2, 2010, Bart tries to get used to the idea that his girlfriend is not really a girl, but a guy, but he's not good at it. He sees that if Jasmine is a guy now, then he will become a girl in their relationship and he doesn't like it.
Fern meets with Jason and asks if he's opened up to his parents, but Jason says they're having a lot of problems without him right now. Then Fern mentions that she got those bloodstained clothes and that it would be better if Jason fulfilled her demands. Otherwise, both these clothes and the information that he is a trans guy will become known to everyone. He doesn't understand why she's doing all this, but she says it's just her safety net.
Jason is talking to his sister at the bar. When Jason moves away, he bumps into Fern. She blackmails him again and says that she is about to send a letter to the police, where they accuse Jason of everything.
Bart is being discharged from the hospital.
On November 3, 2010, Jason visits Bart and knocks on his door. Bart opens up to him, which shocks Jason a little. He wants to explain everything to Bart, and Bart gives him a chance to explain everything. Jason apologizes for lying to him and says that if he could go back in time, he would definitely have told him about everything earlier. After trying to apologize, Jason asks Bart for help. They go into the house and Bart accuses Jason of not trusting him and he had a chance to tell him everything, but he didn't. Jason asks not to hand him over to the police, reminding that Bart once liked him. "Yes, I liked you, but then I found out that you were a boy," he confessed. Jason says it was difficult for him, to which Bart says it's not easy for him to admit it either. "But I still like you," Jason admits. Bart says Jason should have told him right away, but Jason says he was afraid to admit it because he didn't want to lose him. Bart says that the conversation is over and at that moment the police are knocking on his door. Before opening the door to the police, Jason leaves, and Bart says: "You disgust me. Probably as disgusted as the cops are.
On November 4, 2010, Jason goes to school with Anita. Fern approaches them. She asks about Bart and Anita says that the police were at his house yesterday and they took statements from him. "It was an accident, wasn't it?" - Fern is scared and Anita calms her down, saying that Bart won't tell the police anything about her. Jason then asks if Fern will cover for him, to which Fern replies that she is not going to cover for Jason, as she has his clothes covered in blood. She wasn't going to risk it for him.
Later, Anita and Jason walk down the hallway and see Fern putting the key to her locker in her bag. Anita assumes that this key will help them steal the bloodstained clothes, which, in her opinion, should be in Fern's locker right now. In class, Jason pretends to hurt something in order to pick up Fern's bag. She throws him a sarcastic phrase, but nevertheless Jason manages to take the key. When he opens Fern's locker and looks for clothes, Fern notices this and, grabbing him by the hair, says that he will regret it very much.
Fern takes Jason to the bathroom and grabs him by the shoulders.
-Why are you doing this? Why can't we just be friends?
-Strange way you have to be friends. Friends don't throw knives at each friend.
-Anyway, I'm giving you another chance - at this moment, Fern runs her hand next to Jason's face, hinting that she still likes him and is ready to be with him.
Jason says he'd rather rot in jail than start dating her, for which Fern slams him against the glass. At that moment, Anita comes in and finds out that Jason likes Fern, and she also says that she will testify against Fern, since she saw that she was the one with the knife. But Fern says it's a provocation and she wasn't there. Anita admits that she lied, but says, "Think about it, who will the police believe more? To me, the daughter of the director and Jasmine, whose father is very famous, or to you? A lesbian who is terrified of opening up to others." In her defense, Anita shows a dictaphone on which she recorded Fern telling Jasmine (Jason) that she loves him. They leave Fern and Anita supports Jason in every possible way. She says that everything depends on him now and leaves too. At this moment, Jason receives a message from Bart, in which he says that they need to meet.
On November 17, 2010, Anita and Bart meet at school and she says they need to talk. She sees how angry Bart is, so she says she knows about Jasmine. "I know Jasmine wants to be a boy," she says, to which Bart asks her to keep her voice down. Anita says she found out about him back in September, when she accidentally mistook him for a guy at a party and kissed him. Bart doesn't like it and asks if it was pleasant, to which Anita says yes. Then Bart says that she should have realized that it was Jasmine and not a guy, but Anita insists that Jason was just Jason. Anita also expresses regret that Bart is having a hard time right now, but he only gets angrier. "How can it be easy? Anita tries to convey to Bart that Jason remains the same person, but Bart does not understand this. Bart asks not to tell anyone about this, but Anita wasn't going to tell about it anyway. Then Bart relents and even asks her how she likes a kiss with Jason.
From that moment on, feelings begin to arise between Anita and Bart. They kiss several times and even manage to almost have sex, but they are scorched by Anita's biological mother, Eva.
On November 18, 2010, Jason learns from Eva that Bart and Anita have slept together. Jason tries to talk to Bart at school, but he doesn't want to, so he leaves, leaving him unanswered. After school, they meet and try to figure things out, but Bart just yells at Jason, and Jason yells back at him. Their quarrel is noticed by Jem. When Bart and Jason leave, Jam approaches Jason and asks what happened, but he says that everything is fine and nothing like that happened. Gem doesn't like it and she tries to get him to talk. That's when Jason confesses to her.:"I hate being a girl. I don't want to be her anymore because I'm a boy!" Jason cries and runs away from Gem. That's how Gem became the first member of the family to find out that Jasmine was transgender.
On November 22, 2010, Jason takes Gem to his secret house, where he shows her how he transforms into a guy named Jason. Then a conversation will take place between them.
-Of course, this is all good, but you do realize that this is just a disguise, right?
- But you said yourself that the changes are good.
-But even so, you are still biologically a girl, unless, of course, you plan to have sex reassignment surgery.
-I've been thinking about that.
Jem asks Jasmine to think about it, but Jason is adamant. Jem says it's all because of her, but Jason says he's always been a guy. He asks her if she's mad at him, to which Jem replies that she's just sad. Jem asks Jason if he will date Bart, to which he says that he wants to be with him, but not in this body.
-It must be difficult for him. He's going to go nuts with this kind of information. Actually, neither do I.- suggests Jem.
-Why are you acting like this?
-Oh, I'm sorry, Jason, but how do you think I should react when your younger sister suddenly declares that she is a boy.
-But you've seen how unhappy I am!
-You're just a teenager who's in puberty. I never thought you'd go crazy.
-I'm not crazy!
-You're not a boy!
- I have friends who see me exclusively as Jason.
-When? At night or in the shade? You don't expect me to believe that you can actually pass for a guy for someone, do you?
-You'll see.
Jason takes Jem to a meeting with Mark. When Mark sees Jason, he tries to talk to him. Jem sees that he thinks he's a guy, so he accepts it. She talks about Jason as her cousin in front of Mark. From that moment on, Jem tries to talk about Jason as a boy.
On November 23, 2010, Jason dresses up as Jason and goes to meet Bart. Bart says he wanted to see Jasmine, not Jason, but Jason says he's the real one. Jason also confesses his feelings to Bart again, saying that arrest and the police are not terrible for him, as long as Bart is with him and can forgive him. "Please, Bart. I just want you to see the real me," Jason tells Bart. He also continues to pour out his feelings to him and says that he can no longer live in Jasmine's body, that he doesn't want to be a laughing stock for everyone, etc. He's tired of running, so he just wants to be himself, but Bart doesn't understand him. "Why can't you just be a girl?" Bart asks, to which Jason replies that it just hurts to be in a girl's body. " If I can't be myself and be with you, then I don't want to be anyone at all," Jason admits, but Bart rejects him and says he doesn't want to date Jason. Jason says it's because is ashamed to be with him, but Bart says he just wants to protect him. They sort things out and Jason says again that he still loves Bart. He kisses him. At this moment, they are caught by a police officer. Jason runs away, and the officer says that it was the guy who stabbed Bart, but Bart stands up for Jason and says that the officer does not understand anything and that it would be better for him to close the case, because he has dirt on him.
On November 24, Jason meets with Bart and he says that he has nothing to worry about, as he made sure that the officer did not say anything. At this point, Jason reminds Bart where they left off.: "You still haven't answered if you love me..." But Bart is silent again. Later, they try to talk again, but nothing comes out.
On November 25, 2010, Jem and Jason are at home together. Jem says again that they have to get rid of Dad, otherwise he (Jason) will never be able to be himself. Jason is a little reluctant, saying that they don't know how their father will react. Then Jason imagines how Dad admires him and says, "You've made me so happy. Another son became an outstanding football player." But Jem looks reality in the eye and says that after that his father will disown him. An unpleasant picture occurs in Jason's head, where his father insults him in every possible way, and his mother cries. At this point, Jason agrees to remove his father, but on the condition that Jem tells him everything so that it is safe. Gem said that nothing would be required of Jason. She just wants her mother to see her father cheating on her again, and this time for her father to leave home forever. To show how his father will react to the news that Jasmine is Jason, Jem hugs Jason and when his father passes by, he says:
- This is such amazing news. Dad, you can imagine. Jasmine was accepted into the rugby team.
- My daughter will not play a men's sport. Do you want her to be covered in bruises? This is a contact sport.
-But it's her choice.
- Rugby is a men's sport and I don't want the village to think that she is a lesbian.
- But it has nothing to do with it! If she wants to play rugby, it doesn't mean she's a lesbian.
- But that's exactly what people will think!
-You're so prejudiced! It doesn't matter what other people think of her. The main thing is that her family thinks of her.
- Listen, I just want my daughter's life to be as simple as possible. So, Jasmine, go back to school and tell me you're giving up on this.
Jason gets upset, but Jem makes it clear that they have a chance to avoid his father ruining his life.
On November 29, 2010 Jem's plan is going well, but only now has Jason realized what Jam really wants to do. Jason is extremely negative about this, but Gem tells him again that if he wants to open up and be a boy, then this is possible only if his father is not around. She also reminds them that their father has always cheated on their mother and this will not be news. "Your mom and you will be much better off without him. Trust me," Jem insists, and then leaves.
In the end, Jem's plan fails, as Missy (the girl who was supposed to seduce her father) throws them off at the last moment and flirts with another man. Jem didn't like it and she led the girl into a conversation, during which she accused her of making it all go wrong. "You have no idea what you've done!" Jem began to speak aggressively, but Missy began to accuse her that it was all her fault and she was just a crazy psychopath. "Congratulations Missy, you've managed to ruin Jasmine's life!"', says Jem. Missy didn't understand what Jem was saying, but she didn't go into details. Jason, who was standing near the threshold of the house and watching them, heard all of the conversation.
On November 30, 2010, her mother comes to Gem and starts blaming her for the whole situation with her father. She says Gem is selfish and thinks only of herself. Jem insists that Mom needs to leave her father, but she says she won't do it. ""It seems to me that your unwillingness for us to be together is not just because he cheated on me. There's something else here," Mom suspects, but Jem doesn't answer. In the end, they came to nothing and went their separate ways.
Later, Jem announces to the family that she is going to leave. She says she doesn't belong here and she doesn't like herself, so she needs to change her place of residence. After that, Jem is going to tell Jason about his move. He doesn't want to let her go and he's crying.
- It's only a two-hour drive from here,- says Jem. - We can call each other or even talk on a video call every day.
- But it's not the same! You promised to help me!
-But trust me, you'll be fine. Look at me, Jas. You're really strong and you can handle it.
They end up hugging.
Before Jem leaves the house for good, he tells his father to look after Jas because she is going through a difficult period. "Just let her be herself, okay? Promise me!" she said. The father did not understand at once, but in the end he hesitantly promised. She also told him not to make the same mistakes with her that he made with her. She comes up to Jason for the last time and, taking him by the shoulders, says with a smile: "Goodbye, Jason." By doing so, she makes it clear that she has fully accepted him.
On December 13, 2010, Fern is still in love with Jason. The school disco is coming up, so Fern wants to invite Jason to go with her. "Apparently you're not going with Bart," she says, to which Jason tells her to get away from him. Fern says that because of him, his Brother broke up with his girlfriend and is now free. Then Fern says she doesn't mind going to the disco with Jason, but he reminds her that she said she was a lesbian. "I like different ones. Even those girls who feel like a guy trapped in a woman's body," she admits and, calling Jason by his first name (specifically Jason), invites him to go with her. Jason refuses because he remembers Fern's blackmail and reminds her of it. Fern, in turn, says that she was stupid and they could really have something, but Jason says that he doesn't like girls. Then Fern says that it's never too late to just try, but Jason replies that he has already promised his brother that he will go with him.
When Jason approaches his brother to tell him that they are going to the disco together, he suddenly unexpectedly declares that he already has someone with whom he will go. Throughout the day, Jason does not believe that his brother is going with someone and says that his girlfriend is fictional, but he insists that he is already busy. Then Jason confesses to him that he broke up with Bart and misses him. That's why he wants to go to the disco with his brother, but he is adamant. He already has a date for the disco. Later it turns out that this is a couple - Fern. Seth asks Fern what kind of conflicts she has with Jasmine, but she says it's nothing serious.
December 14, 2010 is the time of the disco. Jason goes alone. When he meets his brother, he begins to say ironically that he didn't have any girlfriend after all, but then Fern comes up and Seth says that Fern is his girlfriend. Jason gets upset, but doesn't say anything. When Seth leaves, Jason starts arguing with Fern, saying that she is being rude. Fern is talking about telling everyone Jason's secret again. At this point, Seth arrives with a drink. When Jas says that Seth shouldn't drink, he says. that she's not his mom, to which Fern replies: "More like Dad."
Jason takes Seth out into the hallway and tries to reason with him, but Seth doesn't want to listen to him and says she's just upset that he ended up with a girlfriend. He accuses her of ruining his date and that Fern really understands him, but she retorts that Seth is dumb enough to fall for Fern's lies.
When Jason returned to the hall where the other guys were dancing, Fern found him and showed him that she had uploaded this recording to the disc, where Jason says that he is a boy. She also says that today everyone will hear about it and his secret will be revealed. When Fern throws her CD into the stack of discs, Bart notices this, and also notices how Jason is looking at this disc in panic. Then Jason tells Bart that his confession is on that CD, where he confesses that he is a boy. Bart decides to figure it out completely. The recording turns on and Bart, to help Jason, fills the whole hall with foam and the recording stops playing. Fern snaps at Jason, saying that next time she won't tell him anything, and then the whole school will find out about him at some point.
On December 15, 2010, Jason writes to Bart that he has serious problems and they need to meet. At school, they cross paths and Jason thanks him for his help.
Later in the evening, the principal sees Bart with Jason and shouts for him to stop, but he picks up Jason and runs away with him, hiding in one of the classrooms. Jason talks about that record on the CD again, that Fern has copies, and Bart says he needs to get over it and just open up himself. The director finds Bart and says that the police want to talk to him about the fact that he flooded the hall yesterday.
As a result, his acquaintance turns out to be a policeman and he is simply released. He asks a friend what to do in case of blackmail, and he simply advises him to tell everything as it is. Bart transmits the same words to Jason. But Jason is afraid to admit everything (both that he is transgender and that he was involved in Bart's stabbing).
On December 16, 2010, Jason decides to come to the police station with Bart to confess everything. Jason worries and asks Bart what to tell him. He couldn't say, "I'm a girl who wants to be a boy. And yes, I'm the one you've been looking for for a month. They won't believe it." Bart says they don't need to disbelieve his words. When Ethan, the policeman, comes out, he calls Jason. Jason recognizes him and says that he knows his brother, and therefore has some doubts about the correctness of his actions. The policeman also recognizes him and says that she is Seth's younger sister. Although Jason is worried, he agrees to talk. Already in the interrogation room, Ethan asks:
- Do I understand everything correctly? Were you pretending to be a boy?
- No, not really. I am a boy. I want to be a boy, and I feel like one inside. I know it sounds silly, but that's the way it is.
-Did Fern blackmail you because she knew you wanted to be a boy?
Then Bart told Ethan that it was Fern who stabbed him and that it happened because she wanted to tell everyone about Jason. And then she blackmailed him with it again so that he wouldn't go to the police. Ethan understood everything, but told Jason that if the case went to trial, Jason would have to tell his family about Jason's existence. Jason said he was ready for this, and the policeman told him not to delay it. Seth arrives at the police station and sees Jason. Jason realized that hiding Jason's existence couldn't be done for long and needed to be told as soon as possible, so when he got home, he was going to talk to his family. He sees Seth and Riley and says he's having a serious conversation and that they shouldn't interrupt him, but then Riley says her parents are gone and won't be able to hear. Jason postpones the conversation until his parents arrive. He also quarrels with his brother over Bart and the fact that he thinks they are dating Bart again.
Seth is dating Fern. His girlfriend's parents call and say that they need to talk and the police are waiting for her at home, to which Seth says that his sister was also at the police station today with Bart. Fern doesn't like it and she accuses Jasmine of trying to frame her. Then Fern decides to tell Seth Jasmine's secret.
- She's just afraid that everyone will find out her secret. Like she wants to be a boy and likes to dress up as a boy.
-What are you talking about?
- Do you know Jason, whom they have been looking for for a month and have not been able to find? So they won't find him, because Jasmine is Jason.
On December 17, 2010, Seth can't believe Fern's words. When his family discusses another girly thing about Jasmine, he just stares in disbelief. He says that Jasmine is his sister and they shouldn't talk about her like that, to which his relatives say that she is a girl and that's what they should be talking about. Seth replies that Jasmine has never liked all these girly things and they know it perfectly well. Seth and Jason meet on the street and Seth says that he is avoiding him, and also shares that Fern has been arrested. He asks if that's why she was at the station yesterday.
-Why are you only awake now? Bart was stabbed a month ago.
-I just needed time.
-Fern said you lied to the police because she had something on you.
-What is it?
-You know that.
-Tell me exactly what she told you.
-If I were you, I would tell everyone my version as soon as possible, because she was released on bail.
Jason's family meets all the relatives. Jason goes down to the relatives, who are happy to see her. They call her "Jasmine", they say that she has become a very beautiful girl, etc. They also tell her to give her her present right now. This gift turns out to be a pendant and makeup. They try to make up Jason, but he's against it. Also, when they want to put a necklace on him, he refuses, and then the relatives start to get angry, but Jason can't, so he just sits down. All the time at the table, he sees Seth's meaningful gaze. Before everyone started to leave, Seth started telling everyone to stay because Jasmine had something she wanted to tell everyone. He also says he's talking about it now so they can hear it from Jasmine, not someone else. Except Jasmine gets scared and won't talk. When the vase breaks, Jasmine just goes to her room. Dad comes to Jasmine's room. He tries to talk to her and says that she should wear a necklace so that her relatives would cool down a little (tension had grown while Jason was at the table). While Dad was putting the necklace on him, Jason was crying because he didn't want to put it on, but his dad hugs him and says that Christmas is always terrible, so you just have to put up with it. Jason looks at himself in the mirror and, ripping off the necklace, picks up a pair of scissors. From that moment on, he wants to be himself, so he cuts his hair short and changes his clothes, after which he goes downstairs to the table. All the relatives look at him in disbelief, but he just says: "It's me. I'm a boy. Here I am for real, and I am Jason."
After that, Jason begins to openly lead a lifestyle as a guy named Jason.
