Jacqui Hudson is the cheerful, yet rather self-centred mother of Geri Hudson who would often cancel plans with her daughter to spend time with her boyfriend.
In April 2000, Jacqui caught her boyfriend Demetrius kissing his ex-wife, so she invited herself on Geri and her friends' skiing trip to Geneva. She tried to flirt with many of Geri's male friends - Alex Bell especially, and took them all out to a club. However, Jacqui ended up leaving abruptly after quickly reconciling with Demetrius, who wanted to take her on holiday. Jacqui returned to the village later in 2000 and got a job working at The Dog in the Pond as a barmaid. Jacqui started a relationship with her employer, Jack Osborne, following the death of his wife, Jill. However, the relationship failed. Jacqui discovered that Geri planned to marry footballer Jason Cunliffe in order to divorce him for £1m in exchange for his unfaithfulness. She attended Geri's wedding in December 2001 and left afterwards.
