Synopsis
Two thugs are after Gemma Johnson, while Dillon and Ste are brought even closer together, but tragedy then strikes, leaving both their lives in danger. Elsewhere, a rave brings Frankie into the orbit of Esme Dixon.Plot
The two thugs, Griff and Sully, are armed, so Donny, Warren and Gemma quickly escape Brookside Close. Charlie, Vicky, Lucas, Dillon and Frankie get ready for a rave. Dillon texts Ste to let him know that he can't stop thinking of him. Charlie hands out pills to Frankie and Lucas. Lucas gets high but has taken two pills instead of one. Arriving at Gemma's boss's swanky apartment, Donny's apologetic to his daughter for the danger she's now in. The teens attend an Old Skool rave. Theresa McQueen rings Warren whilst at an airport but is disturbed by Dodger. Warren doesn't disclose the identity of the caller to Gemma. Donny texts Dodger his location and asks for his help.
As Lucas downs shots at the rave, Dillon admits to Frankie he doesn't want to be with Lucas anymore. Griff and Sully arrive at the house and point guns at Warren and Donny. Theresa's wanted by Interpol. Dodger wants answers but she won't reciprocate and instead asks Dodger to turn a blind eye. Griff and Sully want £100,000. They shoot Gemma, who falls into the swimming pool. Warren rescues her and she quickly regains consciousness. Warren agrees to get the thugs the money. Frankie's understanding of Dillon's explanation for ending the relationship. He rings Ste and lets him know what he's about to do, unaware that Lucas is within earshot and has heard everything. Esme Dixon befriends Frankie at the rave. Charlie and Vicky get close. Lucas gets more pills from a dealer at the rave when Charlie won't supply him with any more.
Theresa invites Dodger for a drink with her but he prioritises a text. Gemma vulnerably opens up to Donny about why she's not started a family. Griff is knocked unconscious by Dodger, who obtains his gun and points it at him. Lucas heads to the upper level of the rave's warehouse and prepares to jump, but is saved by Dillon, who then tells him he's never going to leave him. Frankie and Esme are united by Lucas's situation. Dodger makes his way into the apartment and attempts to arrest Sully, but Sully grabs his gun and points it straight back at the copper. Theresa has black market diamonds for Warren. Frankie and Esme return Lucas to the penthouse they're staying in, where they find Charlie and Vicky kissing. Dillon thumps Charlie when he speaks out of turn, while Vicky turns Charlie down.
Donny, Dodger and Gemma are tied up. Gemma tells Dodger that Donny is actually Mick Johnson. Donny explains that Froggy was after him years ago so he had to disappear. Griff comes back round and takes Donny away to the bedroom with Sully after they find out that Donny's also a copper. Theresa gives Warren the diamonds; he promises to make her her money back and then some. Esme and Frankie kiss on the balcony of the penthouse. Griff takes Dodger to the bedroom where Donny has just been beaten up. He proceeds to viciously attack Dodger. Ste finds Dillon at a bar preparing to take a pill with a vodka tonic. In a repulsive act, Griff sits Donny up against the bedroom wall and then rapes Dodger in front of him. Tears stream from Donny as he helplessly watches on.
Ste breaks the news to Dillon that Peri's died and asks him not to leave Lucas yet as he's going to need him. Gemma's revealed to have been working with Griff and Sully, having wanted to fleece Warren. Frankie has sex with Esme but their experience helps Frankie realises that she's not gay. Dillon declares his love for Ste again. Ste tries to push Dillon away but his response intimates feelings, which Dillon quickly picks up on. Warren's confused when Griff and Sully demand the diamonds, having not disclosed what he had to anyone. Gemma begs Warren to hand over the diamonds so he does. In the bedroom, Donny confirms that he was not subject to the horrifying assault that Dodger was. Donny's determined to make Griff and Sully pay while Warren wants his diamonds back, so the pair head to the car to give chase.
An elated Theresa reveals another bag of diamonds. Frankie comes across Sully on a dating app. She rings her father and is dealt some shocking news over the phone - Nancy's in a bad way. She tells Charlie and Vicky. Ste and Dillon kiss passionately in the middle of the road after Ste confirms he has feelings. The car chase between Donny, Warren, Griff and Sully gets out of hand and Griff and Sully's car flips after hitting roadworks while Donny and Warren's spinning car strikes Ste and clips Dillon, who're left injured on the ground. Donny heads over to Griff and Sully's car and beats Griff to death. Lucas and Frankie find Dillon and Ste while Warren tells Donny they have to leave immediately.Cast
