Hollyoaks Highs: The Wicked Bits is a companion piece of Hollyoaks which aired on Wednesday 8th September 1999.
It was a documentary covering the events of the previous four years of the programme, aired in September 1999 to celebrate Hollyoaks airing three episodes per week. The documentary was presented by Natalie Casey (Carol Groves) and James Redmond (Finn).
The documentary gave viewers a behind-the-scenes look at the programme, as well as reviewing storylines in the show over the past 4 years. The documentary featured many cast and crew members: including Nick Pickard (Tony Hutchinson), Ben Hull (Lewis Richardson), Terri Dwyer (Ruth Osborne), Sarah Jayne Dunn (Mandy Richardson) and Natasha Symms (Kate Patrick) - as well as producer Jo Hallows, and other crew members from the writing team, wardrobe department and set designers.
The documentary also gave viewers exclusive glimpses into the Morgan family's new house set, the new student characters, as well as the return of Rob Hawthorn (also featuring an interview with Warren Derosa (Rob) and Kerrie Taylor (Lucy Benson)).
Synopsis
Hollyoaks celebrates a permanent move to three episodes per week by giving a tour of the set, whilst reminiscing with cast and crew about past storylines.Plot
