Hollyoaks Favourites was a retrospective series broadcast on E4 in 2020 showcasing a selection of classic Hollyoaks episodes under various themed subtitles. This was transmitted from 2nd April to 24th July 2020, and again from 11th September 2020 to 15th January 2021. The series was created to fill the E4 7:00 pm timeslot when Hollyoaks was forced to suspend production due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, with the intention that the show would still maintain a presence on television whilst it had reduced or paused broadcasts.

Cast members (who were generally relevant to the episode being shown) would introduce the upcoming episode and explain the context and backstory to account for the lack of ongoing narrative. Occasionally their link would be presented from the Hollyoaks set, but more often than not it would be via a video message due to the lockdown caused by the pandemic.

The series was initially transmitted in the First Look timeslot at 7:00 pm on Thursday and Friday, before settling in a regular Wednesday, Thursday and Friday timeslot from the second week. The final week also featured a Tuesday episode, to account for First Look finishing a day earlier than Channel 4's broadcasts. There were 51 Favourites broadcasts in this pattern up until the main show ran out of new episodes in late July 2020.

The programme was succeeded by Hollyoaks@25 which aimed to celebrate the show's 25th anniversary, which aired 25 episodes over 5 weeks and followed a similar format but with consecutive episodes from each 5-year period of the show.

When the main show returned from its transmission hiatus with a four times per week Monday-through-Thursday pattern, Friday's timeslot - beginning 11th September 2020 - featured a return to Favourites, now renamed to Hollyoaks Friday Favourites with no theme subtitle. This format concluded on 15th January 2021 when Hollyoaks returned to broadcasting five episodes per week.

Select episodes from the series are occasionally repeated on E4. During the initial run, E4 briefly trialled repeating earlier Favourites episodes at 7:30 pm. On 12th July, 13th July and 15th July 2021 episodes 1, 2 and 7 respectively were repeated at 7:30 pm, immediately following the E4 First Look episodes. This was most likely due to the week's First Look schedule being disrupted by Formula 1 on Channel 4.
