Hollyoaks@25 was a retrospective series broadcast on E4 from 27th July to 28th August 2020 to celebrate Hollyoaks' then-upcoming 25th anniversary. It re-visited a selection of the most talked-about weeks in the show's 25-year history.
The series succeeded Hollyoaks Favourites, which had been broadcasting in the traditional 7:00 pm E4 First Look Hollyoaks timeslot whilst broadcasts gradually came to a halt due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
Each week of Hollyoaks@25 showcased 5 consecutive episodes per 5-year period in the show's history. A different pair of cast members hosted and introduced each week of episodes and would explain any required context and backstory to the audience. The characters played by the hosts would generally have a link to the storylines being featured in the episodes.
