Hollyoaks: Casting Special was a documentary aired in October 2000, documenting the open auditions of Hollyoaks. The series was presented by Jenny Powell and produced by Karl Dolan. Through the auditions, actors Andrew Somerville (Theo Sankofa), Elize du Toit (Izzy Davies), Lesley Johnston (Laura Burns) and Marcus Patric (Ben Davies) were discovered and cast in their respective roles.
