George Smith (born Andrew Palmer) is the son of Annette and Geoff Palmer.
During his time on the show George has embarked on many friendships which include the likes of Maddie Morrison, Tilly Evans, Martin Johnson and Neil Cooper. George is also openly gay, and changed his name to "George Smith" after faking his own death in order to run away from home this was discovered by Esther Bloom and Callum Kane.
George has embarked on a few romantic relationships during his time most notably that of Vincent Elegba whom was trafficked into the country by Trevor Royle. He also had a very short and brief romance with Ste Hay who he had slept with at one point. By September 2014, George departs Hollyoaks after making many friends to start a new life elsewhere.
