P.C. George Kiss was a police constable who dated John Paul McQueen. John Paul and George had met when George was called to Hollyoaks High School, where teacher Nancy Osborne had been stabbed by a gangster. George become a key part of the investigation into the county lines drug dealing, and was placed at the school in an attempt to lower the risk of dealing at the school.
A few months after beginning his relationship with John Paul, George started becoming domestically violent and manipulative. Fuelled by jealousy of John Paul's former relationships with James Nightingale and Ste Hay, he would take his anger out on John Paul, but convince John Paul that he was the one in the wrong.
When the McQueen family became suspicious that John Paul and George's relationship was not as happy as it seemed on the surface, George attempted to convince people that John Paul was abusing him. However, John Paul revealed bruising and combined with the memory of past injuries they had seen John Paul sustain, the family realised that George was abusing John Paul. George planned to leave the village, but was confronted by Theresa McQueen. As he lunged for Theresa, Sally St. Claire (John Paul's mother) struck George with a bookend, killing him.
Biography[]
2020: Investigation of Nancy's stabbing[]

PC George Kiss was the first to arrive at Hollyoaks High School, on the scene where teacher Nancy Osborne had been stabbed by drug dealer Mason whilst separating a fight between Mason and Imran Maalik in January 2020. PC Kiss asked the parents to bring their children to the Dee Valley Police Station to give witness statements, but nobody was able to identify Mason (except for Sid Sumner, who kept quiet due to the fear of angering his cousin and Mason's 'boss', Jordan Price).
With the inability to capture Nancy's attacker, George made more regular appearances at the school. On Nancy's suggestion, George lead a search on all of the students' lockers. The pair nearly caught Sid and Juliet Quinn with ketamine, but Juliet managed to get rid of the drugs in the nick of time. PC Kiss later caught Juliet with a wad of cash at Gentry Park Academy, and arrested her on suspicion of possession with intent to supply. However, Juliet managed to convince her brother, lawyer James Nightingale, that the arrest was a misunderstanding and Juliet was subsequently released.
2020-2021: Abuse of John Paul[]

John Paul McQueen was left smitten by George, but refused to ask him out as he did not know George's sexual orientation. John Paul's son, Matthew-Jesus McQueen, decided to ask George outright if he was attracted to men or women, to which George informed him that he was gay. John Paul's mother, Sally St. Claire, attempted to set up George and John Paul, under the pretence of a discussion about the school (where Sally served as the headteacher). However, George saw through Sally's plan and told John Paul that if he had asked him out outrightly, George would have accepted. They later arranged to go on a date.
George and John Paul later met up at The Dog in the Pond, but the pair were interrupted by the arrival of James, whom hours earlier had admitted that he was still in love with John Paul. George saw John Paul's reaction to James and told John Paul that he had already been part of another love triangle, and did not want to do so again. However, John Paul later convinced George that he was over James and the pair got to know each other, deciding to have a second date. The following day after Mercedes and Sylver McQueen's vow renewal, George and John Paul agreed to make their relationship more intimate.

After seeing John Paul and James hanging out, he arrested the pair so he could see who John Paul would choose: him or James. After arresting John Paul and James, he visited an ex-boyfriend - Dean Vickers - who told George that he still loved him despite George being mentally abusive towards him. George mocked Dean, and told Dean that he had moved on.
In April 2021, John Paul was informed by PC Smith, colleague of George's, that George had died following a showdown with some violent youths. This was later revealed to have been false; George had pretended to have been killed on the job to show John Paul how strong their relationship was.
2021: Proposal to John Paul and Death[]

George proposed to John Paul, who initially rejected over George's fake death; however, George manages to change John Paul's mind by telling him the things he loves about John Paul and the McQueen family. Celebrating the engagement at The Dog in the Pond, Ste and James soon interrupted, to which George bragged about his relationship. James informed George that John Paul had spent the night at Ste's house (John Paul had refused to tell George where he was). George pretended to be unperturbed by this, but told John Paul to avoid Ste and James and lied to Ste that John Paul was preparing to falsely report Ste for sexual assault.
John Paul learned of George's threats towards Ste and confronted George. George admitted to John Paul that his brothers owned a dog, and George would beat it so it would submit to him and start liking him. He then proceeded to violently attack John Paul, leaving him struggling to breathe. John Paul fought back, hitting George as Sally and Theresa McQueen returned, with George lying that John Paul was physically abusive.
George is killed by Sally after trying to attack Theresa.
George prepared to leave Hollyoaks, leading to John Paul revealing that George had been abusive towards him - not the other way round. The family realised that John Paul was being truthful. Later, as he prepared to leave, Theresa confronted George over his treatment of John Paul, and Sally soon followed. George lunged for Theresa, so Sally took a bookend from George's box of belongings and struck him in the back of the head, killing him.
2021: Aftermath[]
John Paul became prime suspect after George's death, and was arrested and charged after voluntarily giving a statement to the police. A witness came forward, claiming to have witnessed John Paul killing George. However, the witness, P.C. Smith, was discovered to have falsely given an account of events and was temporarily suspended from the police force. John Paul was subsequently released, and George's killer was never found.
After George's death, John Paul continued to drink heavily as he was reminded of the positive memories throughout their relationship. He subsequently became an alcoholic, costing him his job at Hollyoaks High School after he crashed a minibus due to withdrawals.
