George Baker is a circus performer who had a fling with Sandra Burke in 1984. In 2005, a year after Sandra's death from a massive stroke, Bombhead began searching for his biological father. After finding a letter from an Edward Johnson, Bombhead had a private investigator track him down. By chance, George - dressed as a clown - was at the cafe where Bombhead was meeting Edward, and was amazed when Bombhead mentioned Sandra and his date of birth being 22nd July 1985. Bombhead dropped a picture of Sandra as he left, which George kept.
In November 2005, Bombhead, despite his fear of clowns, assisted his best friend Lee Hunter in auditions for a fundraiser at HCC. During the event, clown George Baker revealed that he was Bombhead's father, and the pair spent the next few weeks getting to know each other. George later introduced Bombhead to his fiancée, Heidi, and invited him to join the circus. After falling out with Lee, Bombhead took George up on his offer. After making up with Lee at George and Heidi's wedding, Bombhead left the village with his new-found father and step-mother.
