Fraser "Froggy" Black Sr. is the father of Fraser Black and Connor Sullivan.
Froggy was released on parole after serving a twenty-year prison sentence in September 2026, during which he supported inmates such as Tom Cunningham and Tony Hutchinson. Determined to reunite his crumbling family, Froggy helped granddaughter Grace that Fraser Jr. sexually abused her and fathered her child - her half-brother Rex.

2026-: Release from Prison
Clare visits her disfavoured grandfather in prison.
By August 2026, Froggy was incarcerated at Longmere Prison alongside Tom Cunningham. Froggy had established his reign as "top dog", taking Tom under his wing. After granddaughters Grace Black and Clare Devine-Banks were arrested for their role in Clare's late husband's human trafficking ring, Froggy arranged their release. Clare visited him in prison but made her animosity towards him clear; he took little interest in her but was keen to reunite with Grace. After being granted parole, Froggy visited Grace and Clare on day release, where Grace agreed to let him move in upon his release. Before departing, Froggy gave Grace a video tape that revealed that Fraser Black Jr. had molested Grace and fathered their son - Rex.
Froggy arrived in the village as a free man in September, convincing Tony Hutchinson's friends and family to visit him in prison and joining the search for Morgan Osborne. He also comforted Grace as she struggled with her revelation.

Background Information
- Former Emmerdale actor John Middleton's role as "Fraser Black Senior, also known as Froggy", was announced in July 2025. Middleton had previously appeared on Hollyoaks as Doctor Clark back in 1997.
