Farrah Maalik is the daughter of Kashif and Misbah Maalik, the sister of Yasmine Cunningham and Imran Maalik, and the half-sister of Sami Maalik.
Farrah arrives in June 2017 as the new Hospital psychologist where she meets the troubled Kim Butterfield whom she would later begin a relationship with upon on her arrival its soon seen that she's the daughter of Misbah Maalik who arrived a month before hand. Farrah's time in the Vic saw her main focus on Kim and being later joined by her full family. In November 2017 she attempted to help Sienna Blake escape her ex fiancée Warren Fox and manages along with Kim and Esther Bloom track her down.
In 2018, Farrah is left worried when Kim suddenly goes missing not known she's been kept hostage by Ryan Knight but by May 2018 discovers where Kim has been and the pair rekindle their relationship. Farrah later develops feelings for Grace Black and like Sienna attempts to help Grace take down her gangster fiancée in Glenn Donovan. Farrah is also left heartbroken when Kim has to go on the run from Glenn's son Liam Donovan who thinks Kim is the reason Glenn was killed.
Farrah's time in Hollyoaks village comes to an end by May 2019 after almost two years when she accepts a job offer in Canada, Farrah says her goodbyes before leaving in a Taxi on her way to the Airport.
