Eva Falco

Detective Inspector Eva Falco was the daughter of Billy Brodie and the girlfriend of Liam Donovan.

Left distraught by the death of her father, Eva sought revenge on her uncle Jack Osborne, blaming him for Billy's imprisonment. After breaking into 17 Basswood Road to trash the flat, Eva lead the investigation when Jack and his step-granddaughter Esther Bloom called the police. Eva slept with Liam Donovan and gave him drugs (which she stole from the police station evidence room) to look after. She stole them back and let Liam believe that he lost them, before telling him that she would be killed unless Jack was murdered. However, Eva changed her mind and had Liam abort the plan after speaking with Jade Albright.

After Billy's funeral, an armed Eva decided to confront Jack. However, upon her arrival, she found that the Osborne family was missing. After finding a lead in the form of Kim Butterfield, Eva put hospitals in the borough on alert after Tegan Lomax found her at Dee Valley University Hospital. After finding Tom Cunningham, Eva threatened to charge him with murder if he did not reveal Jack's location. O.B. helped Tom escape, but Eva found the Osbornes and took them all hostage inside of their flat. During a struggle between Eva, Jack and Jack's son Darren, Eva ended up pulling the trigger and Esther was left comatose after being shot in the head.

Going on the run, Liam decided to flee the village with Eva. However, whilst on the train, Grace used a gun with a silencer and fatally shot Eva in the back of the head. Liam was left devastated by her death and turned on Grace after discovering that Eva was pregnant with his baby at the time of her murder. Liam ended up kidnapping Esther and threatened to kill her, but left the village after Grace gave him £50,000.
