Synopsis

Steph's friends all turn on her at Abby's birthday party. Dale tries to seduce Ben. Scott tries to find out who called the police on his gambling night.

Plot

Scott looks at the police warrant on the door of The Loft, before throwing his coffee cup at Ellie's feet. Abby receives a birthday card from Will. Lee waits at a park, but some of his heart balloons untie themselves from the bench and fly off. Steph asks Dale about what happened at The Loft. Dale reminds her of the advice to stay away from Scott. Scott accuses Ellie's family or Toby for calling the police for him. Ellie thinks Scott sounds jealous but he remains cold towards her, and orders her to find out who. Abby tells Lisa and Zara that Lee is still cold towards her about Bombhead - however she is unable to find Bombhead. Lisa is impressed to learn of "rumour club" being dissolved, and Steph being kicked out of the friend group. Abby remembers that she sent Steph an invite by mistake, but Zara doesn't think Steph will turn up. Lee is surprised when Bombhead reveals that he made Abby a cake for her birthday. Bombhead disapproves of Lee rejecting Abby on her birthday. Will thinks Ben's dislike towards Dale is unjustified. Dale arrives and winds Ben up about Izzy.

Dan is furious to learn that Toby has lost his money. Ellie accuses Debbie of calling the police. She fires him out of rage A man walks out in front of Bombhead on his rollerskates, so he falls over and covers Debbie in cake. Will tells Dale of the police raid. Lee arrives and Dale explodes at him. Abby prepares to apologise to Bombhead, but he is more upset about his job and the cake and skates off. Ellie confronts Dan about calling the police. Dan is furious and says that Toby has the motive. Bombhead cheers up about the job when Lee reminds him that it was just a placement. Scott accuses Toby of calling the police. Toby points out that he has no evidence to back up his accusation. Lee arrives at the party, but angers Abby when he demands that she apologises to Bombhead. The situation is exacerbated by the arrival of Steph. Debbie is able to reconcile Toby and Dan. Toby subtly admits to Dan and Debbie that he called the police. Ellie arrives and Toby wants to talk outside. Abby and her friends gang up on Steph, saying that they do not want her at the party. Steph is unable to convince any of them to give her a chance.

Dale asks Ben why he doesn't like her. Dale works out that Ben is attracted to her, but he denies it. Toby and Ellie have an argument. Ellie is shocked to learn that Toby was trying to impress her. She accuses him of being possessive, she says that she only flirts with Scott for fun. They are soon kissing and have reconciled. Dale seduces an uncomfortable Ben. Ellie takes a call from Scott privately, which Toby listens in on. After the call, Ellie confronts Toby and he admits the truth. Will finds Steph outside Gnosh Village. He encourages Steph to go back inside, but she refuses. He calls Abby outside and as soon as he leaves, they bicker. Abby calls her a "nasty piece of work" and walks off. Steph calls Abby a bitch, so she pours her drink over Steph as everyone in the party cheers and applauds. Scott walks past and Steph tries to flirt with him, but he coldly rejects her. Dale finds Ben in his bedroom and flirts with him to his discomfort. She kisses him and pulls away, but he kisses her back.
